thats another thing i have to research a lil more. will dsmlink v3 be efficient enough? i have a safc with a flashable ecu but thats going to be sold when this motor goes in.

Get v3 full I prefere gsc s2 or s3 cams. Also not sure about those ross pistons I will research them later I hope they hold up, best bet is the wiseco hd pistons. Also you will need like 1450cc atleast if you plan on running Ethonal. Also You could got away with like a 9:1 compression motor for little more power and I know Ethonal likes it. Also best turbo I have seen latley on the dyno making 700whp is the 3586 turbo from fp. Good luck.:thumb:

Going by your responses and overall thread. you shouldn't be going for more than 400 at all. You're over-doing it.

The new 294 Kelford cams are WAY overkill. I suggest you learn before shooting for a high number such as 650.

What he said. I would go with a less aggressive cam setup with the hx40. Using those cams would be like putting a 42r on it and hoping to hit 400 crank hp :D
I like the hx40 idea though. I didn't have the pro version, rather the restrictive BEP bolt on hx40, and it was a really fun car to drive!

WOW...all I gotta say is that when you get this project done you should put those pesky V8's in your pipe and smoke em...:thumb:

Haha will do it does now with a stock bottom end running 25lbs on a 50 trim

I'm prob not going to use those cams mybe 272's or 280's which out of them puts down the best numbers down on the dyno?

I enjoy the looks on rich guys faces in there brand new beamers, Lexus, grand sports. There buttom jaw are on there lap when they get beat by a little 4 cylinder
