yup. i went to change the VC gasket and when I went to take the bolts out, found out the idiot put screws in there. and from what i can tell he used a drill and just blasted them in. had to retap the holes and everything. not really a hard task but still. when i took the screw out i held it in my hand and just shook my head.

You should see the wiring job on my car. My door light stays on so I had to unplug the switch, and my hand brake light is always dimly on . I crawled under my dash yesterday and shuddered at what I saw, don't even know where to start.

I hate idiots that ### with wiring and don't know what they're doing.

man you guys have no idea. I got such a good deal on the car (1500) that i didn't really worry about too much. so far all I've done is replace the turbo and fix the radio wiring, but still i couldn't believe it. oh well gives me something to do!! haha!

The Guy I bought my rs from, was using a bullet as a conductor for the battery cable connector, because the connector could only tighten so much. Shame.

I honestly thought the head would be toast after that. Glad you were able to re-tap everything.

yeah instead of an m6 thread i ended up having to do a 1/4-20 thread. no biggie

Try buying a 92 awd and when you go to pull the motor find out it has no rear mount AT ALL. some people just dont have the tools or a idea on what to do when problems arise so they rig em. and i hate that but you cant blame em for trying

I sure do blame them! They do these things, it doesn't work right and they blame the car for being unreliable. Like its the cars fault.

The plus side is that this is why we can get these cars for pretty cheap.
