For reference, I am the KING of bonfires! haha Nothing better than a ridiculously large fire and 5 gallons of gas to get it started, followed by me running from it half caught on fire!

The pile we have is quite large and already built. We have cleared some trees from the field behind our shop and got permission from the Mayor to burn it in August. As a matter of fact the Mayor used his backhoe to compress the pile!

As far as how drunk you can get. You can drink all you want, right up to the point where you become: 1. Obnoxious 2. Want to fight 3. Want to talk shit about me/the shop 4. You are driving and are not safe to do so.

Police will be patrolling and I always tell them, "Don't cut anyone any slack, if they are speeding, driving recklessly or drunk, arrest them and take them away."

BEHAVE in our town, there are 900 people that live here, I was raised here and have to be here 365 days a year. I expect people to act respectful when they come to my "house".

Nah, I'm a cheap drunk, but I just get super relaxed and in a good, relaxed mood. However, I'll remember to keep you around and just yell " RIIIIIIDE~!" and expect to hear your car start. :thumb:

It should include an small wrench set of 8mm, 10mm, 12mm, and 14mm, a cheap knife, a phillips and flathead screwdrivers a single flare, Crackes, Peanut Butter & Jelly Snackers, a bottle of water, 2 intercooler piping clamps, and a laser pointer. God knows that'd save many lives.

There's no way I'll be able to go this year with having to build my talon from the ground up and debt. But a kits like that every become reality I'd pay some one to pick one up for me!

I'm still debating on this...I don't think the girlfriend can take off work and I am the only DSM guy here in town that is going I believe so I can't decide what to do since I would likely be going alone haha. I haven't reserved a room yet either so that kind of complicates things as well

Have not attended a DSM shootout in almost 15years. It was a blast back then and I can only imagine what it is like today. I highly recommend going and being a part of it if you can. It is a good time for everyone. I ran an even 11.0h so close to breaking into the 10's back then.

I've been messing with DSM's for 11 years now and this will be my first shootout.

I don't think this is a year anyone will want to miss. I think this year nearly every class right now has some type of cash payout, not that that has ever really mattered to anyone. A lot of "old guys" coming back out of the wood work and planning to come, which will be very cool.

I'm glad it's three full days myself because it's gonna take that much time to visit and bullshit with everyone!

Also the backpacks were ordered today, 1,000 of them. There were 2300+ who attended last year, this year it's sure to be closer to 3,000. I'm not sure how we are going to handle the backpacks yet but they are cool. Simple string type bags, 20th Annual DSM/EVO Shootout logo on them. Outer pockets, it's something people will keep for years and years. We are getting swag for them now to fill them. So far we have the 20th Annual Stickers for the car windows in the bag, small piston/rod key chains from Wiseco pistons, DSport Calendar, who knows what's going to end up in them!

I'm all kinds of geeked out for this year's event!
