my one problem ..I Don't know where a couple lines go on mine so i have no boost atm
Pics are of the 2 lines on the bsc not sure where they go
Pics wont upload ...See 2nd post of mine LOL

Pic's wont up load sorry ...
Sorry for grammar i took me 4 times to spell clutch at 1st LOL
2 lines coming off the bsc where do they go?
Have no boost could it be one of these lines ?If it couldn't be those lines what other line could it be?

I have a mbc going from j-pipe to waste gate
I know one plugs into the maf ..the other not sure..

If you run a line straight from compressor to wg, you get (drum roll) wastegate pressure!!! Which, on a 1g, im not sure what it is. Probably around 10 or 11 like the 2gs id guess.

You can get rid of the bcs if you want. That is what im saying. I dont have mine hooked up ATM(or the engine for that matter) so i cant say where the lines go. I think one goes to the air intake pipe(pre turbo, post maf) and the other goes to the wg(thats T'd to compressor too) now that i think about it. Just a guess, but you dont need the bcs.
edit: you cant plug a vac line into the maf......

Why no boost then ? could it be the wgs then , and not the bsc? its at the front of the car in front of the air filter

Do something: run 1 (ONE) vac line from the cpmressor housing(boost source) to the nipple on the wg and go for a drive. Then report back. Tell me if you still have no boost. Make sure the wg flapper isnt easy to move and the wg arm is attached to it. Your mbc could be hooked up backwards or your arm could be off the flapper.

I drove the car before i did the transmission swap , ran fine ...I didn't remove the mbc or unplug it ... So that's not the problem

ok so give the guy a break, I would guess from his location and grammer his primary language is French not english. Give him a break guys.

TopperTopper PM and I will help you get this figured out.

Everyones being friendly here. I was simply asking him to try a troubleshooting technique that i would personally use. No worries. Just take away one thing at a time, and whatever is remaining has to be the problem. Deduction

IF you are getting no boost at all it isn't because of those lines. If one comes un hooked or the bcs isn't working than you will get maximum boost. You either have a intercooler pipe off, a bad turbo, or the wastegate arm has came off if there is no boost at all.

Boost was fine before the swap ..Turbo is fine , wastegate is fine nothing changed except for the lines i pulled off the , bov (stock one) , and the lines on the air filter -turbo

no spool no pull...vac will got from 20-0 but not go into boost ..All motor no turbo ..Before it did go into boost all the time 15psi 16g

Check all couplers and check the wastegate arm. IF the turbo is fine as you say than that is the only thing that it can be. It will make a minimum of 10 if there is any problem with the boost control hoses. If the wastegate is attached to the turbo than there is no way that is can make less than 10. Did you have the intake pipe or the maf sensor off? You could of dropped a bolt into the turbo or something like that also.

Had both off . No bolt dropped in there i used paper towel in there ...Yes i took it out when i was done ...Could it be the manifold wasn't all bolted down ? thats the only thing i didn't do myself ...Would it still go into boost with it not fully bolted down?

The exhaust manifold? What do you mean by not bolted down? It would help to explain these things in the beginning of the thread instead of half way thru.

I didn't know till i just posted that ..Buddy put bolts in the top but not the bottom of the exhaust manifold

What ... After the swap . Just when i posted that i seen the , exaust manifold only had bolts on top..Buddy didn't finish putting them in :banghead:
Would that be why i have no boost

IT is possible. Start the car and feel for exhaust leaks around the manifold. I would go ahead and get that bolted down properly. Do yourself a favor and don't let this buddy touch this car again.

If your exhaust manifold is leaking so severely it can't even spool the turbo I think it would be extremely obvious. You should be able to hear it.
