Looks pretty good, how much do those wheels weigh?

Picked up the Modified issue last night, was a little disapointed in the actual writing/story, but the car looks great!

13.4 lbs apiece which is about 3 lbs more than the Motegi 15x6.5 but the tires are lighter so the overall weight has only increased 1 lb.

That article was actually written 2 years ago and there was some creative license taken with the original. The update will be in next months Modified though to correct it.

I have already contacted the editor for the article on they giving an updated page in the august issue. To say the least I was very disappointed when I read it.

As of tonight new lexan wind shield is in and any silly small stuff is taken care of, she is ready to go back this weekend and work on the launch and maintaining a full pass, I feel some real fun is gonna happen

Well I'm gonna bring it back from the dead, Whats going on for 2012???? Well I've been sponsored by AEM for one, some real cool stuff is gonna come from this alone, also another sponsor stepped in as well, Marco from Magnus. Metro Trans is also working hard to make some really cool parts for the auto, 300m out put shafts that drive the Tcase, these are gonna be production pieces so let me know. I also have gone into production with my Tcase braces. I've also done some converter work too, I've had this converter in before and the gains were fricken awesome, it just wasnt quite right for that old combo I had, the combo Im running now is perfect. I also have gone to water to air IC built by ETS, this lil unit is self contained, no hoses, pipes, huge tanks, ridiculous pumps no extra weight over my huge air to air I had before, Im also changing fuels, Im not gonna talk about it much right now other then it is gas not alkie. I also moved to mech fuel pump as well, other than this it's still gonna be the same old boring low 8 second DSM.

Sounds like some solid changes for 2012. AEM supplying any new parts or just backing what you already had?

They are hooking me up seriously with electronics, so my old AEM v1 is for sale, I never had any issues with it, pm for price. I'm gonna be logging so much more of the car this year it's gonna be crazy. My other project thats taking off is my 2003 Outlander, It's awd, sportronic auto. I've already dumped it 5.5 in and it's rolling on 255/45 17's and full Evo suspension. I have a ton of testing to do first but its gonna get our ER lr2.4 10:1 motor, GSC s2's and maybe in the end a FP 3586. We've already gone in and figured out the flash for the ecu so now it's just like flashing an EVO, I've had it on SD, worked great. should be a fun DD.

The interested in the a2w intercooler!

Is E.R. having a dyno day this year? I remember seeing this car at last year's dyno day and would surely love to see it again, with improvements.

We're working on making the new building a bit more neighbor friendly so we can have a dyno day. I know Luke is wanting one sometime here this spring so keep watching for a posting on it.

I finally got the car back up and going again. Man I miss hearing this noisy ass bi***. I have my new fuel on the way, and should be testing early next week to see how all the new changes are working out. I cant foresee anything as of now to stop this thing from making some serious power. I'm sure some sort of video will surface from that session. I want to thank everyone who supports our efforts to my program, Sponsors, Vendors and everyone who just cheers us on Thank you.

Dyno session this week then maybe if the weather holds I'll go do some shake down passes this Saturday. My last passes of last year were breaking in a new motor and at 42 psi I ran back to back 8.42 @ 164 ish mph, I'm hoping to be able to do this again and more at the same level.

Been a lil busy but got the car on the dyno today, Just did low power testing at 34ish psi, was up from last year at the same level by 70 plus wheel. Looks like I'm on track to kicking some ass again this year. This was a pretune to installing the new V2. more to come.

I've heard the series 2 AEM has had some issues for us lately or just bugs that caused the 5 volt system to fail? Could be hearing that wrong, but can you confirm it's actually fine to use or can you explain a little more on it? PM if you'd like to keep your thread clear.

I havent heard that, I'll check into it. I've been told about a problem where when you try to start the car the ecu goes of line then back on, Ity seems this is sometimes caused by lack of voltage when you crank the car, USB cables require a certain min voltage or they disconnect.

I believe the STM Evo RS they just did had the 5 volt system fail and another person I know personally ended up having the same problem. I just want to see if it's an issue that needs to be address or if it's at their own fault it had happened before I spend the money on Series 2 myself. When you do find out, could you come back and update? It would be much appreciated.

Keep up the good work with the car. Should be another amazing year for you.

Got some 35psi test runs in today. Just 1/8th mi were only running 5.8's but its a good starting point for our 1st big race in 2 weeks. With a DA of 5k and only 35psi we feel we are on track for better times this year. 5.8,s equal to around 8.8 or so in the 1/4mi for us.

Made a ton of Changes that we are still learning.

Version 2 AEM
Mech Fuel pump
FIC 2150s
C23 fuel
Water to Air IC
Tighter converter (Hardest new part to learn)
True 4 EGT logging. So far seems way cool. Had one pass that we had some missfires on and I could see it plane as day in the log when #4 dropped from 1500deg to 1000deg for the remander of the pass.

4 EGT's are the only way to go. That is exactly what we rely on in our Land Speed program. It is the only way we are able to keep our motors alive. It has saved us numerous times. That and warning lights that are displayed in our RacePack help a ton. Good luck this year. Keep kicking ass. Would love to see you guys try to come to Denver again.
