I'm planning on getting a 20g so I'm gonna need a front mount but I'm really low on cash. Is it possible to use both the front and side mount? I don't want to have to pay for an upper intercooler pipe or to have my ssqv bov welded on a new pipe. I think it would be fairly easy to run both because the lower icp for the front mount could go into the lower icp of the side mount. Other than the added restriction of the stock sidemount, I really don't see any reason not to do this,

That is kind of silly. You are going to have to fabricate piping either way. Keep it simple with just the front mount and less connections to fail. If you don't have enough money to do it right, than don't do it at all.

The real ? Is where's the rest of the mods that you really need to run a 20g. Like wideband, something to tune with upgrades to the fuel system. So we don't have another feels like hitting a brick wall thread. There's a lot of other things you need to do first before ever installing a 20g and fmic.

You DO NOT want to use a front mount AND the side mount like previously said.:notgood: Go with the front mount and ONLY the front mount. Do it once and do it right. Good luck!:thumb:

I'd say, be patience and collect money before you jump into this! Look for a used one on here. or Over time, buy peice buy piece so its not a large amount of cash at once.(It may cost more in the end but its like getting a loan we'll say)
But I truly wouldn't jump into something you're not ready for.

Or worst case, use the sidemount till you can replace all said parts. But I feel this being a bad choice because I know once you get the 20g on, you going to want to work it. And a stock 2g SMIC isn't enough for a 20g.

I have this kit on my car and it is awesome. like stated before some trimming is required. You will lose your foglights and charcoal canister but for the price it is good.

hold on a sec... In that pic I see a side and front mount LOL

wondered how long it would take for someone to catch that. can't hook it up just yet, but the car is going for paint in a couple of weeks and I didn't want to have to cut the 2gb bumper after it gets painted, so had to fit it now...working crazy hours and it was the only chance to do it.:banghead:

In that picture you can see he just mounted the front mount up but he doesnt have the plumbing in there yet because his car is going to get painted....

exactly, not running both. didn't want to have to hack on a freshly painted bumper. had it off and on 4 different times trying to fit it. would have fuc*ed it up for sure.
