Toyota that is! I love this thing. I have not been over here in a long time and just wanted to stop in and show my new project. Not going to lie I miss my DSM, but not that much. LOL. I have had this truck for two years now. Bought it with 180k miles and now its almost at 210k. Took a lot of trips. Not one thing has failed. Ive done oil and brakes. I love it. DSM could never do that. Here is what I have been doing.

1996 4runner Limited
3.4L Quad Cam 24V v6
Ebay Hot Air Intake

Suspension:

Front: OldManEmu 881 Lift Coils w/SS 1" Lift sleeves (3" Lift), OME 90004 Comfort Nitro Shocks

Rear: New Land Cruiser 7 wrap front coils installed in rear (3.5" Lift), New Tokico Trekmaster Shocks, bored mounting brackets

Extras: Rear Swap bar lift brackets, 4" Extended SS Rear Brake line, Daystar Competition Rear Bump Stops, SS Tapered 1.5" Diff Drop

Treadwright 265/75/16 (31") M/T Guarddoggs, 16" Toyota Stockers

She does really good offroad, has tons of flex in the rear. I need to get some rock sliders to protect my investment before I hurt it. I plan on front and rear lockers, TRD supercharger and some sliders, front/rear bumpers and a winch. Also 1.5" body lift and some 33" tires. But thats all expensive and cash is hard to come by these days, LOL.

Went with my buddies and their lifted trucks.. Could get pretty scary but very fun especially when your in the truck and it's noise is towards the sky.

Yea I really want to build an 85 4runner into a full blown buggy like that. But you can easily drop 20-40k into an offroad buggy.

So after about 5 years of being away looks like I'm getting back into the DSM game. Got pretty far on the 4runner. Still need a set of sliders and rear bumper but after that she is pretty much done.

My brother's dsm (1990 1ga Panda) has been sitting about 2 years with blown trans or clutch. He is letting me take it over to get her going and build her into a drag car. If trans is dead we are doing auto swap. If not clutch will do till next season when we can get an auto into it. 9's will be goal in CO altitude. Its a fully built 16g car, has all supporting mods for a bigger turbo so its got a good head start. My brother also got him a 4th gen 4runner, so he is busy working on it. Just finished up an ICON lift and front bumper install. I will start a build thread once I get the DSM over to my house.
