Hey guys had a quick question,

I already have a 3" cat back and I recently bought some new parts

- evoIII o2 housing
- 3" downpipe flanged for the housing
- high flow cat

My question is will the evo o2 housing match up with my stock t25 turbo or do I have to wait to put my 16g on before I can put the downpipe and housing on?

The evo 3 02 housing is standard mitsubishi flanged...So it will fit like a glove..

But the E3 02 housing is kinda cocked weird and might require some good thinking to make it work..

Fittmet on the turbo, yes, however as bud said, the down pipe flange in the o2 housing is at a different angle. Some instances you can get the dowbpipe rotated enough to makwbit fit but generally you'll need the flange on the down pipe cut and re welded at tge proper angle.

You mentioned a down pipe too? Is that already welded to mate up properly with the o2 housing?

Yeah the downpipe I bought is flanged already to only fit the o2 housing but I was just making sure that the housing will fit with my stock turbo before I take it all apart

I currently have an RRE downpipe and an Evo3 o2 housing on my T25 turbo. In my experience, the Evo o2 housing will REQUIRE porting to match the T25 turbine housing. They just do not match perfectly like I had originally thought they would. What I thought was going to be a great upgrade became an exhaust blockage. I'm currently running it that way now but am in the process of getting the 2g housing ported.

Keep in mind that I do have a 99 GSX 5-speed. I read a post on here from another member and he was saying that t25's were slightly different from manuals and automatics.

I need to clarify this post I made a while back. Everyone was right about the Evo3 housing bolting up properly. My original statement was made because I lined up the gasket to the o2 housing backwards. It was getting dark and I was in a hurry to get it all together. Then right before bolting up, I must have put the gasket up against the o2, just to see how things would fit.

After buying a NEW downpipe and porting my o2 housing to correct what I thought was an issue, I found that the turbine and waste gate outlets are well centered and larger than the stock turbine housing outlets.

My lesson is learned and for future members that will search this topic... the evo3 o2 housing does bolt up properly without restriction. :coy:

i personally ported the hell out of my stock 2g o2. Looks damn near the size of the evo o2. Took alot of work though, not for the impatient

I personally would wait till you get the 16g and bigger turbine housing, why waste your timetaking the O2 housing off a t-25, you will probably break the bolts off anyways, you need to use lots of heat and wd-40. I also ported the hell out of a 2g O2 housing for my 3'' back exhaust and honestly it's alot cheaper then buying and evo O2 housing that flows pretty much the exact same.

What were you using, a dremmel? The only way to port is with a huge air compressor and carbide porting bits!!!
