Just dropped a used engine in my 2ga tail car is completely stock my mechanic told me that my car is running rich and that 2nd and 3rd cyl are misfireing. I don't know anything about mechanics any input would be much appreciated if more info is required just let me know what and ill get it. Thanks!

Sorry if there are any typos or grammatical errors posting from my phone

Compression is good and he checked my coil pack, I replaced my wiring harness when I replaced the engine so I don't think its wires

Checked the plugs too? If so and all is well...

Check your injectors. I just did an engine change in my 95 eclipse, and was missing in Cyl 2 causing it to run rich. Turned out Cylinder 2's injector had clogged from sitting with old gas in em for so long in my parts car.

Edit : He meant plug wires btw, if that's not what you meant.

Having him check the spark plug wires and injectors thank you for the input

so im just going to replace my spark plugs / wires / injectors, while im at it should i replace my fuel rail ?

Are the injectors on the engine your swaped in stock? Is the fuel pump stock? If you are not running AFPR then you need to have a stock fuel pump and it is also possible that you are running rich because some idiot put 550 in there or something and didn't have anything to control them with. I would see what your fuel pressure is at by testing it and then make sure you have stock injectors. I believe since you have a 2g your injectors should have a black top.

car was my buddy's girlfriends for like 8 years its bone stock nobody threw 550s on it thanks for the input tho i appreciate the help

the engine swap was just the long block, injectors were from my stock car - car sat for a few years before i swapped out the engine
