Hey guys,

I'm just wondering if I'm set to go or I'll be needing anything else before I do the install of my wet nitrous kit.

I have all the regular recommended mods I/H/E MSD + unorthodox racing pulley - full exhaust cat delete so it's pretty free flowing I'm thinking I'll be going with the 50 shot since I don't want to run a 75 ATM

NGK V-POWER Spark Plugs BKR7E 4644 Set of 4 (2 step colder right?) Also a bottle of Lucas tune up and a manual that might be helpful with some stuff + a Nitrous Pressure gauge

Is there anything I'm missing that I need? I have a water temp gauge installed, volts, oil temp, and an air fuel ratio gauge so I don't think I need any others ?

Edit: Got it installed @ Lopers! $1200 later, thanks guys! :p

You posted after midnight last night, today is a holiday. Chill out and don't bump your threads or you will get a warning.

Did you do your maintenance?

Did your kit come with a bottle heater? If not grab a propane torch kit from a hardware store.

A real cold air intake? Even a home depot rig up. You're drawing in hot air right there, kinda pointless. :ohdamn:

Yes I did. The car has a new water pump, a new timing belt, new radiator, new tires, oil change, new NGK spark plugs + ran the Lucas through it.

No it didn't and a propane torch kit ok, would I just be carrying that around in the car and heat it up to 75 -85 F or ?

How are you running the "go" switch? I would definatly go with a window switch over the cheesy ass WOT switch they expect you to rig up.

Just the way the directions want me to. What's so cheesy about it?

I live in Arizona not Illinois my friend, I don't care 'what kind of real cold air intake' you put on a car it's going to be sucking up that hot Arizona 100+ degree air LOL

Air is air man. Any other suggestions?

Thanks for the replies everyone. :D

Dont get a torch kit.. that is just retarded... spend the scrill on a blanket... they are made for a reason.. the bottle needs to be heated so the pressure is around 950psi i think... if its to cold you get hic-ups and its not full gas form... get to hot.. you will blow the relief valve and have NAWWWWZ going all over ... get the 75 dollar blanket...

If you have a pressure guage, then you wont overheat the bottle. Its not "retarded" as you say to use an alternate method of heating the bottle. The size of the bottle is also a factor in using this technique. O and it will definately mess up your pretty bottle sticker as well.

And to bo0st.. An electric bottle warmer is def much nicer and will be what you want if your roaming the streets. Its illegal to roll with nitrous here in mississippi so all of my nitrous experience has been on the track. A propane kit would be a "get me by" until you had the additional funds to invest in a blanket.

I'm gonna need NOS!

Two of the big bottles to ;)

Yes I think the electric bottle warmer would be much more practical :)

Jealous! haha....I bet you are excited to get that bottle hooked up! :)

I've been excited!

Anything else guys?

Pretty much just need a 1) bottle warmer and 2) to install her and hit the NAWSSS (sarcasm) LOL

Oh and What about a purge kit? Needed or just for looks??

A purge circuit isnt a neccesity, but it will help with consistency on the track. Your basically wanting 100% liquid at the jets. You could old school it and purge through the motor, but im not going to recommend that method to a rookie nitrous user.

Okay so if I'm only running this a few times at the track every so often would you recommend it?

Me personally? I would definately set up a purge system. I was just answering your question about the absolute neccesity of one. Purging the line of vapor will insure you reach the maximum power of your chosen shot in the shortest amount of time. It also aids in the consistency of the power delivered. I will warn you though. Dope is a powerful drug. It wont be long before your an addict. Dont let yourself fall into the "just one size larger jet wont hurt" category.
