I have a 99 mitsubishi spyder gsx .... I need to try to figure out what the problem is.... my problem is when I'm driving the car and my rpm's are at 2500 to 3500 and it's holding steady it has a little miss , it's not the timing.... it's not the plugs... it's not the wires... I've changed the cam sensor.... just need input from everyone..
The car drives fine it's just that it Drives me crazy sometimes when I'm driving around town Feels like work seems like A put running outta gas or even ignition failure maybe it's break up in the tune ....... I just don't know maybe you guys can help me out.. all I know it drives me crazy..:banghead:

Can you upload your mods in your profile and like he said above do you have any logs and what software your using to tune with?Double check firing order on the wires and gap on the plugs.

I am new to the turbo seen don't know much about them... my first DSM think it's a 2 60trim turbo to land on V3.... When it was on version 2, It never had this problemis and I know it's probably something small ....

No I don't have a data logger I check my gap 32

Try to gap em to .28 let me know what that does for you.Havent seen your car around the couve what part do you live in?

4th plain and 117th ..........Someone told me they should not be that you low because im not running high boost and mad horsepower
That's what they were before .....and u open them up to .32 the to see if it would help..

Wait you have a v3 Ecmlink but no way to log:confused:

You can run a much smaller gap then that drop it down to 0.22-.024 atleast an see if that helps

.28 is factory gap, most people run .18-.28, I run .26 and alot other people run .25. I will have to stop by sometime and check out this awd beast, and see some logs. But definetly atleast go to .25 to .28, anything gaped bigger then that is wrong, also what plugs are you running?Make sure you only run ngk plugs.

Right now I am running ngk type r .... do you think it could be a bad spark plug or coil pack..... or maybe bad injectors because right now it's in my garage for 4 days and when I go into my garage I smell gas I don't see a leak coming from anywhere I'll have to double check it again later

I sent u a pm .... working graveyard for the next 3 days I am of the third fourth fifth sixth and seventh so if you're available wanna check it out hit me up....

Did this ever get resolved? A little interested because I had/have the same issue. It only happens when I get up to normal operating temperature.

Who tuned it? Did they tell you anything about the issue? or try do do anything to resolve it? Do you have a log of it doing it as well if who ever tuned it doesn't mind you posting one?

tuned by English Racing... no log... don't know how to get a copy of my log but at times it dives me nuts but i live with it.. but i shouldn't to..

Psi can't tune like English can. If I was you I would look over everything engine wise before blame others on a tune. There are some things that would cause your problems I can't find the link for them but a little search should put you in the right way.
