nice, who built the motor??I was recommended by fernado to go to cw pence, I just ordered pauter x beam rods, and wiesco custom 9:5:1 hd pistons..Here in tampa there is no e85 so im limited to pump but im also planning on tuning the car on a c16 map.Its that 6266 is a badass turbo, I have a t4 hta 3582 twin scoll .86 hotside,I was debating on selling it for the airwerks sw400 67mm turbo.

he did the machine work and motor"s rotating assembly (clearence"s for the pistons and bearings) ??? or did he do the front case, water pump, bolted head down, timing, etc?

local machine shop did the bore/hone, i did everything else

Would love to know more about the tune.. not just peak torque timing and peak total timing but how the curve looks (17* peak means nothing when it's only at that level for 1/16th a second before the shift )

Not bad mouthing as i know nothing of your setup, just saying when people describe their curve as "starts at 10* and peaksat 18* by redline" It leaves out too much info..like when does 18* start and so forth bla bla bla

anyway, not to ramble, the car is impressive to say the least and i'd love to see a log if you've gotten around to pulling one for us yet :D

Glenn car is on AEM , i havent looked at a log yet but the peak timing is only 8 degrees. The tuner has it the a/f and timing on the safe side.

Hell, if you're on AEM i have the software on a few of my PC's. if you don't mind tossing up a calibration file/map i'd be just as good seeingthat as compared to a log.

Do you know if you're running the knock sensor feed from the OEM KS to the AEM??? I know the AEM can use it but it seems to be harder to dial in the config to deal with what's normal as it is to just ignore it and tune the car like normal.
 
how much do you think this setup would put down threw an auto setup?shane from asap can you drop me a message of how much you charge to assemble a motor!

This car is actually going auto as we speak so we will find out soon enough!

I pretty much decided to rebuild the 5spd to keep the car fun still and not a dedicated track/drag car with an auto.

it sees alot of street time and the auto is not going to work for whats around here.

I pretty much decided to rebuild the 5spd to keep the car fun still and not a dedicated track/drag car with an auto.

it sees alot of street time and the auto is not going to work for whats around here.

Good choice, when will your car be back up and running? Also on a side note, whats going on with the white AWD? it's been down for a while now?

Thanks man! The HX40 was fun for sure. i picked up a 6266 last week (journal bearing version - T3 .82a/r 3" vband out). i'll post up my results with it as well :hellyeah:

Hopefully the newer PTE JB turbos are better then the old ones! just a heads up about precision :rolleyes: they measure the 3" vband as the outer diameter and not inner like the holset, so the vband on your downpipe now won't fit you will need to weld on a 2.5"
