im sure this is a dumb question and sure its been aswered i dont have time to search for it on the forum sorry about that. just lookin for a quick link or answer if anyone knows where i can get a double din stereo install kit for a 2g. It needs to be able to fit a 7 in flat screen in it. thanks all im lookin for a link of some sort or will i have to fab it up with fiber glass?

You don't need a kit, just use your stock bracket, if you have ever installed a stereo in a eclipse it would be obvious. I have a double din in my car and love it

You won't need an install kit. It will bolt directly to your factory radio brackets.

oh cool thanks guys hahaha and no i haven installed a stereo in my car just the one it came with was a single din so i thought thats what it was but thanks guys.

Youre welcome. Take a look at my pics. I have a double din in dash dvd installed in my car. I actually have had the same one installed in 3 different DSM's. Fits the same in any trim.

theres a ton of places, if you want the cheap way out ebay has double din touch screen/high def dvd players with bluetooth for around 200 shipped.. then like they said the stock metal brackets come out and will screw into the new unit

Crutchfield and all the other vehicle fit guides are retarded then!!
I was sure I could drop in a d-din unit, but then I checked the fitment guides and they only show single DIN as fitting.

Glad I found this to clear it up.
