Weskey i use to live in Saratoga NY. The Mexican connection restaurant infront of the horse track is my grandmas restaurant.

Btw ive been busy with my car aswell. Got a ported head 9 to 1 compression E85 forged internals. Next im going with a lighter driveshaft, and flywheel

Well, I am getting it done just a little at a time... taking my crank sprocket to work tomorrow and making the tool so I can torque the bolt. Then I will assemble the rest of the engine... then be ready to put her in

Man you sure are coming along i remeber when i was trying to buy that car ><. Looks great have you finished cleaning it up far as the engine bay? The motor looks awsome im just curious on what your doing with the paint for the car

Well, That is still kinda up in the air... I know it will have black and copper in it (obviously). But I'm not sure how I will use each yet. I thought about a deep black, like piano black with a decent size copper flake in it. I thought about using the "panda" scheme, but with the black and copper... Just haven't decided how I want it to look outside just yet. No, I haven't finished the engine bay... i need to take my pressure washer to it then finish painting tthe bay. I will definitely have to get that done before the engine goes in there.

I just hope there is nothing else wrong with the car! I still gotta get the rear glass replaced. Poor car is sitting under a tarp right now...

Hey Spade, What's happening? The engine is almost done now! I should be ready to drop it in there in the next few weeks.

Yeah, Tiger, the tarp is doing a good job keeping it dry in there. I'm about ready to strip the interior out of it and start prepping the body for paint. Think I will just remove the rear hatch completely and pull the seal off the frame so I can paint the entire thing.

any dsm guys down near the sumter/manning area? i just got a 95 eclipse that im gonna fix up and would love to hang out with some fellow dsmer's.

Is it just me or has this site just become dead, and run by a buncha self absorbed, "I'm better than you", kids. So sick of trying to get info or speak to people on here and being disrespected. It was my understanding that this site was here to help make everyone a better DSM'er. Screw this place! the internet is entirely too powerful a tool for me to feel like the only place to find this information is from a buncha self absorbed pricks!

I'm out!

I'm in the Anderson area, moved here a few years ago from Orlando and got back into a DSM a few months ago. I've been on hiatus since '08, but have been around DSMs since '01.

Currently have my 1g in my garage for paint and mods.

We should definitley meet up sometime. I'll be on the road sometime in May, mostly stock with fresh paint.

Palmetto, I live off of 85 and hwy 8 fwiw.

almost there... LOL! motor is complete. working on the engine bay right now, and gotta get some this and that sensors and stuff, to get it running. I need a decent front mount if anyone knows where one is.

I stopped by LKQ off of Whitehorse rd., there's a 91 AWD there. Just about everything is still there except the turbo.

I snagged a 255hp pump just laying in the floorboard. It works too:hellyeah:
