So I'm tired of the all to common honda swaps, been there done that. Time to try something new, I wanna stick with a 4 cylinder platform and I've seen over and over again, 4g63's braking records. So i wanna see for myself what all the fuss is about . I'm not going for any records or 1,000 hp track monsters my goal is a simple 600hp weekend car. Luckily my brother kept his 97 red gsx after purchasing a 2006 lancer evolution, so i bought his gsx for a very cheap price.

Stripped the engine bay and getting it ready for paint. I wanna shave off all the holes in the engine bay but i dont know which ones to delete?

Looking good so far. I was at that stage sametime last year. It's all worth it in the end.

Looks good man, just passed that stage myself with my 2g, although I did the engine and all before bodywork.

Hopefully your able to retain most of the stuff from your 1g and toss it into this motor

So I picked this engine up some time ago and its been sitting for about 4 years, counting the year ive had it. Looks good to me but my question is, can i fire it rite up when installed or do i have to do something to it for the long time wait???
