I have a 2gb eclipse and I have since converted the front and rear to a 2gb talon as well as the 2ga talon sideskirts. The final thing I'm trying to add is the 2gb talon "strakes" but before I go drilling holes in the car I want to see if anyone out there can help me out with the measurements for them. Thanks in advance, and I do plan on using window weld but would like to have the clips in them as well.

I just ran out and measured mine. From the body line in the lower door, mine are 4 inches up from that line in the front, and 6 inches up in the rear. 1/2 inch from the front of the door and about 6 inches from the rear wheel well.

I plan to do the same thing to my 99. :D

If I remember to, I'll check my 97 Talon when I get home and snap some pics.

Ok lets see if I can type this out and make sense.
All measurements were done from the bottom of the door line not the bottom of the car.
#1 is towards the front of the car and it counts towards the rear.

Back piece behind the door:
1st hole one of two, 3 Inches from the door and 11 Inches from the bottom line of the door.
2nd hole 9 1/4 Inches from door and 11 1/4 Inches from bottom door line.

Door piece:
four holes
I referenced the door for this.
1st hole 3 7/8 Inch from the front and 8 Inch from the bottom.
2nd hole 13 7/8 Inches from the first hole and 9 Inches from the bottom.
3rd hole 15 7/8 Inches from the 2nd hole and 10 Inches from the bottom.
3rd hole is 16 1/2 inches from back of door.
Hole 3 and 4 are 12 3/4 Inches apart.
4th hole 16 1/2 inches from the 3rd hole and 10 1/2 Inches from the bottom door line. (3 3/4 Inches from the back of the door)

Hope that helps!

when I got mine from tonyseagle he made me a temp plate for them. Made it super easy.

Anyone want my strakes? I actually find them quite unappealing but can't just take them off because of the holes. Been looking at many different cars' door gaurd to perhaps replace them with a lower profile trim. Any ideas? Idealy would rather having nothing but don't want to paint the whole car just to cover the holes.

tkrperformace - That is very unique, have never seen anyone mashup a spyder and 2gb talon before
