Decided to put 4g rims on my spyder.

I was wondering what 4G wheels would look like on my 97 Talon. Rather than actually buying the wheels I just Photoshoped them. What do you think? I think I like the 18 inch 4G wheels best.

I like your old rims that are in your profile picture. But those look pretty clean as well.

Yeah the old rims are nice they were the expensive volks racing. One was damage really bad and could not find a replacement so decided on the 4g sword silver:D

@OP For the price you paid, I think you got a great deal. I mentioned before that I may get a set of these for the winters up north here. You're right about the camera not being able to get the full effect of the color. They look way better in real life I bet.

Please fix your tires LOL. I know its already been stated... But please

+1

Its all I find myself staring at.
I have 235s on a 7.5" rim and the sidewall is almost perfectly perpendicular to the ground.

With your 8" wheels and spacers, you could maybe even go to a 245.

Sidewall stretch = eurotrash fail

other than that, I like'm:thumb:

I love those rims on the syper..Not so much on the color, but it's your car.

On that grey talon I like the 2nd pic with the 5 spokes..

I came across a set of 4G 5 spoke wheels with good tires for only $127 and just couldn't resist. When I tried to mount the rear wheels, I found that the tires slightly rubbed the suspension knuckles. After a while I determined that I could get adequate clearance with 5 mm spacers on the rears only. I now have them on the car and really like them.

I came across good deal on some 4g wheels. I said what the heck so I gave some guy on ebay 250.00 for the set. When I finally received the rims I was totally impressed with the color. Sword silver is what mitsu calls it but most other people say its nothing more than a version of hyper silver but anyway here are some pics of the rims on the car. I must say I like the look! By the way I added a 8mm wheel spacer to give the car a more aggressive look. Rims came off 2008 eclipse gt specs are 18x8 46mm offset 26.2bls per wheel, tires 225 40 18 for those who wants to know:thumb: Tell me what you think;)
i got mine for 260 tires are bad do

LOL I back into my truck one day. I forgot it was parked in my turnaround spot in my driveway.:ohdamn:

You can get a PDR kit and remove that dent. They are usually pretty cheap. Its not difficult just follow directions.

I'm pretty sure keltalon fixed that dent by now. It's been 6 years ROFL

But here's the thing about these old threads that get resurrected: New and updated info can be added that may be pertinent to the original post. Plus us newbs 'round here haven't been privy to all these discussions before. And I hope you're right about keltalon!
