Well I got this hunk of rust for 600 with good engine and transmission, I've can't find any shells for Talons around here, I'd love a 2Gb, Also, how hard is it to go from eclipse to talon

All it is is the front and rear bumper and front and rear lights from what I know. Many people have swapped from a talon to an eclipse or an eclipse to a talon.

Bumper support may be different too but im not sure entinerly.

The swap is very common, gotta find parts, check out ebay, part outs, and classifieds.

Well If all else fails I can always resort to doing a conversion, I really hope we can just find a shell because in all honesty it would save us sooo much time...and money probably

So would a ESI engine fit in a GST roller, he just told me he would take 400

No ESI engine parts will not fit into a GST. If you want a turbo shell I have one that is an auto shell that I will sell you that just needs an engine, trans, and transfer case for $500. It has very little rust on the strut tower on the passenger side and that is it. Pm me if interested.

Well that gst shell was the only one I could find remotely close to me, I'd like to keep it stick though.

im quite a bit away from you but i have a 95 eclipse that still runs (blown hg) and has all interior stripped from it with only a little rust on the strut tower i will sell you for 500 if you come get it. it has a good tranny and motor just pushing a little coolant. bought it to swap interior into the gst let me know

you can drive it on the trailor also

just change headlights taillights and bumpers oh and it has a riced out body kit on it no front bumper ,or radiator also front right caliper is missing but all of your parts will work on the eclipse and you will have extra motor and tranny and $$ back from scrapping that shell

i did steal some parts off of it but nothing you dont have already if you dont get it im gonna pull the engine and tranny and scrap it i have to many sitting at the garage right now

I'd junk it with that much rust. I had a gsx that was jus as bad! Got rid of It fast. I'd let that go even quicker being non turbo..

Well that looks like what I am going to do, I want a N/T for my first car right now because of insurance or I would go TSI or GST, but I've luckily found a clean shell and looks like I'm going to be swapping some parts!

Cut out all the rust and build some new panels. I think a father son project is a great idea. I can't wait till my daughters are old enough. I'm getting them out there to wrench on their first cars. Good luck with the project and keep us updated!

If you can have it done with time and labor, instead of a wallet, do it. It's disgusting how many people already just take good cars that are not even damaged in any way to just part them out and scrap them. It's disgusting.

Well there is rust everywhere underneath this thing, just discovered the other day there where the gas pump nozzle goes you can see the ground, its not that important, but just shows there is a lot of hiding rust
