Have you driven the car yet? Or even rolled it forwards and backwards? If not, do that to allow things to settle. But yeah, that's way high for the springs you are using.

Are you certain that they are the correct Sportlines for your car? Cross check the p/n that's on the springs themselves?

Are the spring up in the fender wells where the springs go and sit in when you lower the car if they didn't go in the holes it will sit weird

If that was the case I doubt he would have enough of the top mounting plate studs sticking through to get the nuts on. But who knows...

My money is on no engine and helium in the gas-tank.

Oh, wait. It's not April 1st yet.

NVM.

It's conceivable that the suspension arm bolts were torqued whist up in the air (not really).

But in reality, that ride height will not handle any worse than what "normal" Eibachs do, so I suppose it doesn't really matter either way ?

OTOH, I don't give a rat's a$$ about how my cars _LOOK_ - I only car about how well they perform...

Those aren't Sportlines. I'm willing to bet he bought them used from someone claiming that they were Sportlines. Or he got some eBay junk knock-off.
