Hey guys, I recently picked up an ECU out of a 92 Turbo FWD its manual.
I on the other hand, own a 92 turbo AWD AUTOMATIC, now I'm pretty sure the auto and manual are Interchangable but is the FWD and AWD possible?
The ECU # is. MD166260. E2T36574

FWD and AWD ecus are interchangeable. Auto and manual are actually slightly different. Autos have smaller injectors, but high fuel pressure. A manual transmission ecu will make your auto run a little leaner.

Thanks man, now will the manual Ecu make the shift points a little higher towards redline? And to much lean as in possible damage worthy? or should I go different injectors and a SAFC, I'm also thinking about putting on a 2g MAF, would it be good to do everything at one to account for adjust lean or rich with an SAFC?

To compensate for the manual ecu just got buy a set of stock 450's and a manual FPR, both shouldn't cost more than $40-60 if you look good enough.
