Pulled a great darwin movetoday..I pulledthe bumpercover and support tocut out for more airflow and visibility of the new larger FMIC i just got and whilei wasat it I repaired the left headlight's missing threadinsert... well, after putting it all back together and driving around i noticed that my left signal wasflashing faster than the right and tonight after just now installing my new painted carpet i realized i was down a headlight as well... wouldn't ya know the Darwin in me came out in full force and i put it all back together without even plugging the light back in...DER1

That's ok, I was putting the car back together after figuring out a no start condition and wanted to try and give it a go to see if I could get the car to fire up. Well it started and ran. While sitting in the driver seat celebrating my victory I started to see some smoke and shut her down. I walked over to inspect the engine bay to find I left my upper timing belt cover on the header. :shhh:

That's okay, a few months ago my car was always losing power and I never thought any particular reason. So I started checking fuses, wires, and whatever would draw a short to figure out why my battery was draining when the car was off.. Then I looked at the battery, there was a new battery terminal and an old one, so I bought a new one to replace it and tightened it like it should've been and bam fixed my problem. We all have those days :p

That's okay, once i was doing a clutch job on an awd 2g out in the cold. Once i finished putting everything together i looked at the mess i had to clean up when i noticed the clutch fork and throw out bearing sitting underneath shop towels!! FML!

I set the glass sunroof inplace this last monday without bolting it on to take the car for a spin. It took flight at about 80mph. now the road next to my house is nice and sparkly ;)
