Finally the rally car has arrived in New Jersey.

I am in the Howell/Wall Township area.

If you're around here, know cars, like beer and/or pizza, want to yell me in the right direction while I work on the Talon, want to be a Co-Driver, Mechanic, Team member, volunteer at rallies ETC, send me a PM!

I'm looking to enter IRNY this fall, and perhaps the Tall Pines rally if there's enough of the budget left.

I need a Co-Driver, which is more demanding than driving. But the most important part is finding someone on the same wavelength. (Cobra FIA seats are in the car, if you're not comfortable in it you'll need to bring your own) Bring your own helmet(SA2010 req soon)/suit/gloves/HANS, I'll cover entry fees($500+) and more if you have an ounce of experience.

I need to find a decent shop around here to help with random ins-and-outs, so if any budget oriented fellows know of a decent shop willing to help a starting rally operation let me know, if you run a shop get a hold of me and we can get a good relationship going!

The car is caged, logbooked, and ready for NASA/USRC/CARS. (Would need slightly updated cage, and more experience to participate in Rally America Open).

I have a build thread going in the rally section (1 of 2, and the other is in Australia!)

Anyway, hi people! :D

You're actually not too far from me and as long as you are ok with it I might have to try and make some time to come check that rally car out sounds pretty interesting. I saw you were getting a welder in another one of your posts just wondering what kind you picked up if you got it. I enjoy welding, have my own TIG, so I may be able to help you out if you ever needed it.

I'd love to have you, and anyone else come by... I figure I'll be picking up fluids for diff, tranny fluid changes, and maybe some bits I need to replace (Flex pipe, dejon intake pipe)then pick a day early next month and make it more or less an open house w/ pizza if any of you want to stop by.

I don't yet have the welder, but the one I would be getting would be an ARC welder (likely 20 years old) in return for loaning my father-in-law a miter saw .

I figure ARC is a good place to start anyhow.

An arc welder will be a good learning tool for some raw basics but not your ideal tool for lighter gauge material but none the less fun to play with (you probably already know this). I'll take you up on that invite and let you know when I can make the time and hopefully we can set something up.
