Hey guys, I’m trying to figure out what the best way to achieve a -2.0 front camber with my current set up.
Currently I have the ingralls front camber adjuster (the slider type) and my current camber setting is at -.36 left and -.40 right, and the camber adjusters are adjusted all the way negative. My car is lowered, not sure how much as the shocks, springs , camber adjusters and sway bars were all installed by the previous owner, if I had to guess on how low the car is I would say its dropped about 1.5 inches.
I’ve found Ingrall offers an adjustable ball joint in the range of -1.5 - +1.5, correct me if I'm wrong here, if I were to use this ball joint I could only get about -1.8 on the front? I haven’t been able to find any other ball joint with a wider range of adjustment, do you guys know if there is one out there?
or would I be better off finding a set of OE control arm pivots and install the camber kit from road race engineer that has a range of -1 - +1 or do you think this wouldn’t get me to the -2.0 that I’m looking for?
I appreciate all the info.
Thanks for the help

Vern

With camber adjustments as you said, it seems like you've maxed them out in the wrong direction. From the factory, an AWD car should have -.583° to .417° in the front. Once you lower it, the camber will go more negative. You need to figure out which kit you have, and if it's adjusted properly/in the right direction. Sometimes on a 2g if you don't have any camber control in the front, you can have it sit at a good value with it lowered 1-1.5".

Thanks for the quick response. Ive pulled the camber adjusters out and there is no markings or part #'s on them, they do look identical to these ones EXTREME PSI : Your #1 Source for In Stock Performance Parts the slider part is pushed all the way inwards closer to the inside of the fender, i asume this is all the way negative? I know when you you lower a car it drives the camber negative thats why i was thinking about buying a set of OE control arm pivots so it would bring the cars camber back to stock and maybe more negative being that it is lowered, and if i were to install the road race engineer camber kits i could fine tune it to the -2.0 that im looking for. however im not sure if there is a better or easier method.
Thanks for the help
