I considered doing the swap because i love the eclipse look. I said f that because i found a 98 talon in the junk yard an picked up the 2gb bumper for 45 BUCKS. Yeah i said it. Its just so hard the to find that bumper but i love it. I dont have any current picks plus no one wants to see my black spray bomb on the bumper but i love it. I just need to get my head lights to be clear its like impossible i put so much work into them an they suck. I had the ebay one but they dont work to well the hids from what im told plus they are cheaply made. I love my talon too much to swap it.

Game plan to make the talon look better

1 paint the center section of the tail lights to match the car.

2 cf hood and hatch o hells yeah

3 CLEAN LOOKING HEAD LIGHTS WITH NO FOGGING

4 bring down the ride height and inch

5 rims tint and some small cf accents

6 a custom cf lip.... still in the thought process

any suggestions.

Sorry bro im not a fan of the swap you can be like the rest its your choice i say why not make the talon look the best it can. Every time i drive down the road i see 2g eclipse and i thank myself everyday for not being a converter because i will just buy an eclipse when im out of school because i like both bodies. I couldnt bring myself to have a talon title and eclipse body. I just feel like im being something im not.

I agree, I dont see many 2gb talons out there. In fact I dont recall ever seeing one in person! However, you did do a great job on the conversion. Looks great! Also the 2gb talon spyder looks SIIIIIICK!

Wow the car looks awsome especially with the stock 17 inch talon rims. I am looking to convert my 2g to 2gb as well.

2gb Talons did not have side skirts. I think you are referrng to the 2ga "Twisty" side skirts. I have a set on my car.

I've seen a few 2gb clipses with 'em and I love the way they flow.

Anyway you still have the rear passenger strake and the driver side front strake? I've been looking everywhere!

I never understood why there are more people that rather have the look of a 2gb eclipse over the talon.

I'd trade my 2gb gsx for a 2gb awd talon ANY DAY of the week.

I know right! The 2gb eclipse is sexy and all but they're a dime a dozen. Whereas the 2gb talon is one of the most unique cars out there and looks so much meaner and aggressive. But I think the poster that said it was kind of hard to sell a talon is true, and usually Talons of equal model to the eclipse are priced lower because most people know what an eclipse is, but you if tell them you have a talon they're like " is that???". Talons FTW!

Come to Canada all there are is Talons unless someone has imported an eclipse.

Eclipse is kinda rare rare up here but i haven't seen a 2gb talon on the road in forever.

I like the conversion, but I do have a soft spot for talons...

I converted my 2gb Eclipse to a 2gb Talon front/2ga Talon sides, it isn't a complete swap since I still have the 2gb Eclipse rear but it's close. I kept my 2gb Eclipse front bumper so I can switch back and fourth when I get tired of the look, that's the way to do it!

Bringing back a thread from 2 years ago, huh? I hate it when people ruin 2gb talons like this. Eclipses are a dime a dozen. A good, clean Talon is almost extinct. That's one of the main reasons I did a Talon conversion to my Spyder.

The only thing worse than what the OP did would be to put a body kit on a 2Gb Talon.
