What's that supposed to mean? I love trees and I commute with an electric bike for numerous environmental reasons.

Figured I would mention this cause no one ever gives me attention, I always try to mess with faster cars then mine... but they dont do nuthin.

Man I got a 2002 Hyundai Accent, 1.5L , I/H/E fully stripped etc. Anyways... these cars have alot of overlap, so they lope and pop at idle pretty bad...

Never had anyone attempt a race, I swear the sound scares them... I have had alot of people talk about it at a stoplight... you know the occasional... *man whats that got in it* * I wish my car sounded like that*
ON decel this thing POPS, Backfires etc etc.... and on a redline shift shoots fire out the muffler hahaha..........

I have done the same mods to 2 of these cars and they all act the same way...

As far as speed, I have killed a couple v6 cars, a decent amount of 4 cyls. *racing my friends etc*

I have actually had someone think my car was a porche. Car is completely debadged and shaved so its understandable

Yeah if you get around the right area there are some cool people that share thoughts of a car enthusiast, I've Talked to and Met: Nissan GTR, Ferrari F40, Ford GT, Honda NSX, Skyline R34, Porsche 911, Lamborghini Diablo.
Got to sit in the GTR and Ford GT...never seen so many gauges in a car. Cool people, but of course there are some stick up rich people that don't even acknowledge you.

Basically this thread is 100% correct. I have muscle cars pull up next to me revving and dropping a gear, but as soon as they see my a-pillar gauge pod they back off why? Then off course where I live (OK, middle of country) there is every make and model of Honda pulling up next to me doing the same thing. and the quote about VW being 110% haters, I completely agree

I went to a VW car meet (p.s. the flyer said all makes welcome) and basically got told to GTFO, everyone of them hated on my 'Ricer' and told me I need to grow up and not own a fast and furious car for once... I told them in there native lauage (german=vw) Ein paar wachsen und dann run über mit ihnen deutsche Auto ( grow a pair and then run over them with you german car...) they had no idea what i said and just stood there

p.s. I never would have thought taking german in high school would ever be used..

i talked to the owner of an audi r8 the other day. he saw my car but didnt mention it or ask about it. but he was really nice and let me take pictures.

but pretty much every person on the road tries to pick on an avenger. WRX people seem to be the worst in my area. ESPECIALLY the stanced sti's.

I had an is-f do a double take as i drove away from it, upwards of 100.. he has trying but could int keep up. i am sure he would have gotten me at the extrem top end but i was still rocking stock brakes then., i wasn't street racing just doing a little spirited driving.
