I'm posting here because the MX-6 boards are almost completely inactive. I picked up a 91 MX-6 turbo from the dealer auction Thursday for $350. Everything is fine on the car except the paint (which is being taken care of this weekend) The car does have a couple of issues I need help with and hope someone here just maybe familiar with these cars.

I checked the turbo out and although it has no shaft play, one of the compressor blades is bent. Does anyone happen to know what the stock turbo for these cars was and where I can find one?

So far this car is surprisingly fun to drive and has a decent bit of power. Wasn't really expecting it to drive like it does when I picked it up.

I'm also having in issue with the temp gauge not working and I feel like it's this shoddy wiring. Does anyone know if this is for sure the culprit or at least the proper way to run this wire?






Thanks in advance, I hate to ask for help regarding a mazda on a dsm board but the mx-6 boards are just about useless.

Hey try probetalk.com or feoa.net or something like that, These are the same thing as first gen PGt's and they have A LOT of potential, just like dsm's with not very much money can be made pretty quick. but they should have Fs threads on there.

Thanks! I'll check both of those out. The last probe board I checked out was about as dead as the mx-6 forum. This car definitely seems like it has potential, but I'm hoping to resolve the issues and flip it for a profit (which means more goodies for the DSM). Just wanted to take a shot in the dark and see if anyone had experience with them.

I've definitely thought about it, but the only thing keeping me from doing that is knowing that the profits from selling it could go towards DSM goodies
