26 years old and still riding a bmx bike. For anyone who used to be into street riding about 10 years ago or lived in California should then know the company solid. I Still have a monstrous solid duke frame. My bike is a beast, weighing in at 37 pounds.

I have a solid duke frame with solid 3 piece crank, solid handle bars, kink forks, casket head set, primo pro hubs with 12g spokes laced into a hefty par of triple wall rimes, and still rocking a pair of kink pegs that are so ground down, they might as well be a deadly weapon. I have the thickest sprocket ever made. i believe its 1/2 inch thick that supports my over sized motorcycle chain.

It's crazy how far advanced these younger kids have got. I went out riding this past summer, and to see kids 10 years younger then me doing some crazy ass shit blew my mind. LOL i thought grinding down handrails and doing 360's out sets of stairs was cool. Shit kids are doing now these days F that haha.

What the hell is up with all the euro bottom brackets now kids are running. Small ass sprockets super light ass frames. Younger kid saw my bike and was completely amazed of my bike. Was telling me they don't even make these parts anymore, and how in the hell can you bunny hop so high with such a heavy bike haha.

Ya I just ride for enjoyment now that I'm married and have a son, I can't be doing some stupid shit anymore and get hurt.

I still ride a little bit mostly park. I'm 30 with a daughter now and the Navy keeps me a little busy but I still ride when I can.

I don't have the lightest bike but I have moved on to a T-1 Five A Day with a 30t sprocket and some other pretty light parts.

Here is a low quality pic from a pretty crap park that was near me when I was stationed in Charleston SC.

And here is a little bit of an older one from when I lived in So Cal

I love riding and I'm pretty sure that I will always do it a little bit at least go to parks and pump around jumping hips.

I'v always wanted to go to wood ward place is awesome from the videos iv seen

Yeah, Woodward is a great time I have been fortunate enough to be a camper at Woodward East back in 1999 and then I rode there again for a CFB contest in 2001. Then when Woodward West opened I had several opportunities to ride there as some of my friends were employed and in 2004 I rode in another CFB contest there.

Yeah i ride

21 years old in the army

from socal.... all street

I just started riding. It's more challenging than I thought but I'm moving slow at it

Any tips with anything?

I got back into it last summer, after being off a bike since i was about 15...My oh my did i learn quick im out of shape. LOL

I just didnt have the time to ride, so i sold it off for a snowboard. Then used the $$ on carparts, ha. It was a Verde, not a bad bike, very light.

i haven't rode in years(ok only 3 years), i have been trying to find a cheap frame for an old school build with the tuff 2s i have sitting in the garage

.... looky at what i picked up for $45
late 95 build 1996 dyno VFR

will look nice once i clean it up and throw my tuffs on it

TalonDave used to BMX...from what i hear, he is fearless. LOL maybe he will chime in...

Also James Foster is a member of this site and he pretty much is killing it in dirt jumping right now.

dang LOL that bike was the shit back in the mid 90's

hell yeah, i took it for a little cruise after adjusting the bars and going over all the bolts, feels way better then any of those newer GTs could dream of being

as far as i can tell the only thing not original is the grips(possibly original), tires and rims, front is a DB and the back says "v303" so IDK, no point in having mismatched spoked wheels when i have tuffs doing nothing that would look so sexy on the chrome frame.
it was parked in the late 90's and never ridden... it still has the original police registration sticker from 1995 on the frame... i am working on remoing all non OEM stickers except that one for the

i forgot how much work BMX was, i can't even bunnyhop over a manhole cover...

edit:
still needs cleaned and to get rid of all those stickers....maybe a new front tube it appears this one has a thin spot

I used to mess around on a bike here and there when I was younger. I have a lot of friends that still ride as well in the Northern Indiana area. Still have my Standard STA frame with the old dropouts before they redesigned the frame. S&M parts here and there, dia-compe 990's etc.

I was always more accustomed to skateboarding though. I still skate to this day, been at it for about 14 years now. I don't get to skate as much as I used to when I was younger since I am a father now with 2 kids to take care of. Hell, its even hard to find time to work on the car anymore!

I'm 43 still can table top and was sponsored by redline. Still have a redline with skyway tuffs and redline cranks.
