From what I've read the AEM progressive controller has a 3bar map built in. JW if I go beyond the 29psi if the controller will still work.
 
I would say that the answer would be yes, but like in most cases of even using a 3bar map and going beyond it's readable scale the controller will default to the highest psi amount of injection when going past that level, so at 40psi it will give the same amount as it would at 30 psi
 
It's been a while since I tested it, but I believe the AEM controller can read 3 bar of gauge pressure.
 
well, yea, 3 bar is 30psi, and technically, any stand alone system i've messed with that has good resolution will actually show you right at 32psi for "3 bar"

but either way going over what it can read will default it to the highest flow that it would be able to read..i.e. same flow at 40psi as it would at 30psi via controller reading PSI via 3 bar MAP
 
Yeah I just picked up the kit, its a 3bar sensor. 1 bar is ~14psi so your good to the high thirties with that controller. The way that it works is there's two setting knobs and the first is the start psi and second is the full spray setting. If mounted in the rear of the car I'd use a lower initial boost setting so it will compensate for the split second delay of long lines. With Ecmlink you can program the Ecu to take its map measurements from that sensor because the controller has a 5 volt outlet wire so you can log boost. Its a really nice setup and its super user friendly. I'd highly recommended it. hmu if you got any questions.

Thanks for the reply. I don't think I'm gunna go with a progressive controller anymore because Jackal SD can control it via FPR solenoid. Similar to how ECMlink does I'm guessing. It grounds the solenoid, so you run a relay to the meth pump off of the ground. Works a lot better then those hobbs switch switches imo. Though they work fantastic, something about them scares me LOL

The progressive controller works well for creating a linear fuel curve versus a switch that controls either full blast or no juice. plus with the controller the auxiliary maps aren't necessary because it's a curved fuel setting. rather using link to activate, use the Boost safe wire to the fpr wire to control an auxiliary map for pump failure. I'm just saying the progressive controller was designed for what its doing and its not a bad option.

Hobbs switches are for diy kits. They are pressure switches used to activate and power the pump. The "bypass" pump or "recirculation" keeps consistent flow by recirculating the extra pressure.
I agree with you on progressive controllers I just don't really have the 150 to fork out. I think I'll run it off Jackal till I can find a used progressive controller.
