Ok some I'm new to the dsm scene I have a 92 tsi Non EPROM Ecu my only mods are A front mount kit and 3" exhuast I recently picked up a maft and 3.5" gm maf but no book I pretty sure I have a grasp on how to set it up Full throttles site but jus wanna know for sure so I'm looking for the correct settings for knobs and switchs
 
Welcome to the dsm scene.Not to be harsh but maft arent my favorite but they do.Some good advice is to start by getting a wideband and as to tell you what settings to set it to well every car is different so adjustments will need to be made more specific to your car.Happy tuning.:thumb:
 
My maft on Corner say cfg 2.02 is that what version software is in it?? I have read thu full throttles write up think I have a good idea how to tune it but not 100% sure I'm jus wondering if anyone knows the settings to have it read a 3.5" gm sensor like a stock 1g maf or if anyone is in cnj area and can help me I will deff take care of them for the help
As for a wide band I do have an aem uego jus have to get the bung welded which brings me to my next question where would the optimal place be for the bung to be welded in? Dp or o2 housing? I got full megan exhuast

Did you not look at the thread that was linked in one of the replies? The VERY FIRST chart shows you exactly how to set the dip switches to accomodate for the 3.5" MAF[/QUOTE


i have the dip switches set for the gm maf 3 and 4 are off, its the knobs I'm wondering about, i understand setting the one for for injectors, if the other ones are set to 0 then the gm sensor should read like my stock maf then correct? i feel I'm jus way over thinking about this i jus don't wanna kill the car leaning it out by accident and be S.O.L again if anyone is in central jersey area i am more than willing to pay if need be for someone help me out with this I'm use to hondas jus slapping chips in them and calling it a day but with the rising crime rate of honda thefts and jus the asshole community assorted with them now I'm moving on to something differnt
