was there any clearance issues with installing the 90* fitting in the proportioning valve? It looks like when screwing them in they would hit each other.

They would have, but they are actually 2 pieces. The 90's thread in, then the 3an fittings thread in to the 90s

Im going to quit with the cell phone pics, and start with the real camera soon. These are starting to bug me

More pics! Bay should be painted this weekend! Also got the chassis harness tucked, and the fusebox mounted.

A lot of work, nice build!

SO glad you came in here...your car is the one that finally kicked me off on this build. Id been planning on it for a long time, but never did do it.

Weve got some color sprayed people. Color is Nissan GTR Gunmetal, with a little custom metallic to it. Cost about $100 for my gallon of it. That and some nice high grade urethane clear coat, should make for a nice shiney tough finish.

teaser pic, high res shots to come.. Also, doesnt look that shaved, however i probably filled 30 or so holes. WAY to much grinding, filling, and sanding... NEVER will i do that much again.

looks awesome, keep up the good work. i love me a FF turbo...title says it all but the payoff will be well worth it im sure

More pictures!

Finally started welding the manifold, as well as got the wheel wells undercoated, and the front bar undercoated. Only got two runners welded up, but should have it finished on tuesday. Also got the wastegate finally, a Turbosmart ultragate. Pics do more explaining. I also managed to get stuck in the engine bay while installing the trans. Good thing im skinny!

Thanks! Im VERY excited!

Got the radiator mounted, as well as the wastegate bits welded. the manifold is 100% finished. I might have it coated in the future, but for now its done. Next up is the exhaust, which will just make a hard left, and go out the bumper. As soon as i get a little $$ to spend, ill buy oil/filter/antifreeze, and be able to fire it up. Heres the pic

Dont know if you have posted this already or not but what intercooler is that and what are the dimensions on it?

Great looking build.

Turboking, thanks! Im not sure on the intercooler brand. I bought it second hand. As for dimensions, ill measure it and post them. Its HUGE. 4" thick.
