Hey guys. I'm new here and hoping you guys can give me some good advice. I currently drive a built 94 Mustang gt. Love the car, have done everything to it myself and wouldnt have it any other way. Here lately though I have been craving something different. This led me to my search for a DSM to purchase. Im just hoping you guys could point me in the right direction for what to look for when buying. I am aware of a few small things that I want. I'd greatly prefer AWD. I have no preference as far as Stick vs. Auto. Just looking for a fun DD that I could enjoy modding, while getting some smiles by surprising a few unsuspecting drivers. Any insight would be awesome. Thanks in advance.:thumb:

GSX 5-speed do your maintanance then depending on your pocket book start buying aftermarket parts.Welcome your dsm will eat your mustang alive.:p

Haha gotta find one in the area. They're hard to find around here it seems like. Are they hard to work on, tune?

only car i've ever built was a 2004 STi and a DSM compared to that is a walk in the park, everything is right in front of your and very easy to find. the forums are a great place to start cause if you ever have trouble you can expect most of these guys to know what the problem is by just a few small details.

good luck!

Couldn't agree more, I know when I was first learning how everything worked it seemed a little over whelming, but once I actually got in there and jsut did it, it was so much easier. I was actually more intimidated by the 5.0 in my old 91 gt then I was by my talons motor haha.

Thanks for the kind words so far. Like I said. I'm still shopping. The market is very small here and I'm still unsure of what to look for as far as problems and such. I would trade my car for a clean one in a heartbeat though. Been a fun car, but I'm ready for something new.
