I try to stop by a couple times a year. Didn't see many people I remember. Also didn't see any updated OG Threads.

So I thought I'd start a new one and see what's everyone is up to. Still in the game, not in the game, moved on etc... I've bought a house, got married, still ride BMX, ride my cafe'd Kawasaki, hit the trails in my lifted Jeep.....but no DSM:notgood:

5/03 woot woot! Do I officially classify as a Tuners OG now? Not that you would remember me anyway I spend 99.9% of my time here lurking and researching rather than posting.

Anyway, still have my dsm but havnt driven it in over 4 yrs. Bought me a 94 supra turbo in June and now plan to "finish" my dsm build once and for all before I go ape shit modding the sup. :rocks:

I don't remember you, but yeah, I've been here since 2003 and I'm even more in the DSM game then ever before. Back in 2003 I was still in high school in Virginia with a non-turbo DSM I bought for $250. Fast forward 9 years and I still have the same car, although its turbo now, I'm married to an amazing girl, and living it up out in Texas. Of course all the true OG members joined in 2002...

Here it is from 2003:

And now in 2011:

Both your usernames and cars seem familiar. Not sure if you remember by second DSM, the silver 1GB and then it was flat black with black 2G swirl rims.

Then my third DSM. The green 2GA TSi AWD with the 97-99 Front Eclipse Conversion.

I remember you.

I'm occasionally here. The car is not.

Same here. Where did yours go? Move on to bigger better things?

I still have it, but it's in non-op status. I'm thinking about selling it to whoever needs a project car.. it's seen better days. Was neglected the entire time I was in the Army.

Circa 2002.

Blue Laser was given to a friend to "hold on to" while I was away in the Army. (Came back and it was junked)
Red Talon was totaled
Blue Talon (which has the Red Talons engine) was sold
Red Eclipse was Sold.

Red Laser - Holset Project car.

Was already married, bought a house, had kids, started a business, going to school.

Life is crazy.

6-21-02, although I was here earlier with a different screen name. I forgot the screen name and password so I made another. Still got my 93 TSi AWD that I bought in 95. Married, kids, house, and my own shop. My how time passes in the blink of an eye.

I'm still here. I registered in 02, but didn't get a dsm till 03. Somehow lost my name and got a new one in Aug when I got to college freshman year.

I've had the same dsm the entire time. 91 talon n/t auto. Been thru a 5 speed swap, a turbo swap, and an AWD swap. Also has had 2 holset setups on it. Along the way I picked up a 92tsi AWD as a parts car, and a 90 Galant GSX that is going to be a daily/rallyx car when ever I get it finished.

And I'm still in school, working on a Phd in Engineering.

Still "employed" here, still in a DSM, but wanting to trade for a Jeep. LOL

2002 here.

I sold my car back in 2006. I just visit the hangout and lurk around. I want to get back into a DSM at some point. I miss how easy it was to work on these cars.

Lots of familiar faces in this thread! :thumb:

Into DSMs more than ever; still have my first GSX I bought in 2004, it's actually on track to be raced in Time Attack next year :rocks:. Also have another 98 GSX for a daily driver. I love these cars too much. Every time I look at newer cars to buy, I can't justify spending that kind of money for less excitement.

One way to put it. Glad everyone is still going strong

Still here, circa Oct. 2002, Still have 2 DSM's, Still waste tons of money on them. Now more than ever most likely. I disapeared from the forums for quite a while, but I'm back with my latest and greatest project LOL. Still see quite a few S/N's from long ago. Glad to see that.

Although I don't DD either mine anymore. Can't deal with no A/C no P/S like I could when I was in highschool LOL.

You got SOFT! ;) A/C and PS are mandatory removals on a 1g.

Oh trust me! My current project I just put a manual rack in it, and A/C has been gone. Just referring to being too soft to daily drive a car in FL with no A/C LOL.

Don't tar and feather me, my DD is a 2009 Civic SI Sedan :cry:
