Our ports are a hair larger than the stock cast ports. Reason for such is core shift. Each head varies a small amount and we take that into consideration.
I've also read that its common to have the "header" ports a little bigger than the ports in the head. The thought is that it creates a reversion dam. I doubt that it matters on a turbo car, though.
