It looks pretty good. I am sure that there are things to be done to make it faster but, seems pretty good to me. I run a maft and have mine slighly tuned with a green turbo. I do not know what hp my car has but with the previous turbo, it had 305 awhp. It looks like you are in the 260 to 300 whp at most for now.

Best thing to do is to take it to a dyno and see what all is going on. Speculation can only go so far without more information like .25 mile times and mph. Even those do not tell the whole story as people and cars are different. Nice pull though.

How much is a dyno pull Cliff? And thanks :)

Throw some 650's on there and max the capabilities of your safc. That with a wideband and some headstuds should let you up the boost near the max of that 14b.

Looks pretty good. I'm close to you if you wanna meet up sometime, I'd be happy to look over the car and bounce some idea's back and forth!

R u crazy? It took 8.6 sec to pull that so 9.. My logger read it right u d bag. Why r u being a troll? Did u also not hear my fwd burning threw 1-2 nd gear?! Stop hating the car makes 300whp on 15psi. Id say. So stock is 195hp take 15% off and u have a 170whp MAX. Get ## facts straight before you speak because you make urself look foolish... But thanks for ## comment

You floored it at 30 seconds into the video, and let off around 43-44 seconds. You should also use proper spelling, punctuation, and grammar.

I'd hate to tell ya man but you're not making 300 on the motor let alone at the wheels with a 14b at 15psi

Hmm...

Btw there was just a recent thread on this subject. A guy dyno'd his 14b at 15psi with similar mods and a tune. It made close to 230whp. You surely will make less then that untuned.

Still doubting 300 at the wheels. Update your mods list in your profile then.

dont offend, but its nothing special, and there are many ways to make this car faster, and alot of money can be spent on it ...

Its evo big 16g

Ok my bad, could have swore i seen 14b somewhere. Anyway a 14b and a 16g at 15psi wont be much different.

To avoid bench racing too much, ill just say that its no where near 300whp at 15psi. Just not going to happen, especially untuned. A friend of mine made 300whp on a 16g at 22psi. That was with cams and link.

But to answer your original question again. Id either jump up to some 650cc injectors, wideband, and some head studs and start slowly upping the boost.

Or get a real tuner like link or jackal and pull some real power out of that 16g.

correct your grammar and spelling before you speak, because you are looking like a fool.

and thats about how fast the car is/was stock.

why did you bother posting a question you know the answer to? stop being immature and posting videos of you speeding on public roads... and dont insult people who know more than you about cars, they will be less likely to help you out in the future.

In lancaster pa, we have a long drive, my father owns a milking farm. We needed it paved, its prob 2 1/2 foot ball feilds long

Your not helping yourself here man.. You got the answers your looking for, you don't like it and have been corrected by reputable people and are calling them a troll, dbag, fool etc. Your not even getting that turbo in its efficiency range until 21+psi. Your car seems fast because you have wheelspin, but if you actually got the power to the ground with a AWD drivetrain it would not be anything like you think..

Its not awd... Its fwd now, broke the awd trans.

Dyno runs in the Atlanta area run between 50 and 75 dollars for 3 pulls. A stock fwd will not pull like that above 75 mph. You do need to get your awd system fixed. It will cause more rotational weight and will slow down the car on top end but, the car will launch better. Unless you are just dragging the car, it is not good to launch the car. I had 3 of these cars over a decade ago. I had 2 awds and one fwd and can tell you first hand that once going, stock vs stock, the auto can keep up above 100mph although it was rated 15 less hp. Your car is probably putting down at least 250 to 260 but, no more than 300 to the wheels. Take it to a dyno and see what it says.

Do not worry about how much compared to X and Y cause, a dyno is more of a tool to tell you where you are. Just keep using the same dyno so that you know if you are going up or down with other mods. The dyno game is for bench racers. Take into accound that there will be a fluctuation of up to around 10% based on temperature and humidity.

Just want to say that since he has an e316g, a larger fuel pump, and a maft, it is possible to have a decent tune by just zeroing out the maft. I run one on my laser and it is putting down over 300awhp @25psi. The reason I said around 260 is because my talon had an ok tune with a Greddy emanage and running 15psi, it put down 265 awhp before it was tuned. After the tune, it put down 280awhp but instead of 267 lbs tq, it put down 312awtq. It is entirely possible that this car is putting down 250 or 260+ but, will not be more than 300. I would say around 270 at the most. I was running a small 16g with the above stated numbers so, the evo 3 may put down a little more hp @15psi. If the maft is set up decent and is zeroed out, 250+ to the wheels is very possible. Only one way to know without bench racing all day is to take it to a dyno and find out. That is what I am going to do with my laser as it used to put down 305 but now, I know it is more just by how it pulls but, without testing it, I cannot say for sure.

Take it to a dyno and see what it is doing. Running an e316g, I would get an a/f gauge so you can see how rich/lean you are running on and off boost. Get your supporting mods before you break something else.

Uh which one is it, an Evo3 or Big 16g?

To me it looks very close to stock acceleration. I'm not sure how you know it's making 300hp. Butt dyno?

Id like to know how you think it picked up 100hp?

The 14b flows something like 405cfm at 15psi, the 16g about 500-515cfm at 15psi. The difference would be "about" 6whp difference.

Theres a recent thread on a guy who dyno'd a tuned 14b at 15psi at around 230whp.

So an educated guess would put this guy at 236-240whp if he were tuned which hes not, so 230whp is being rather generous.
