Hey, UPS did the same thing to a brand new head in my front yard a year or so ago - resulted in shattered cam gears.

At least the package got there. Our local USPS store tends to lose packages regularly.

I've never had issues with FedEx personally. However, I CONSTANTLY have issues with UPS. Nearly all of the parcels I receive through them have had the shit beat out of them.

Having worked at UPS I can tell you this happens more than you think. There is a reason why they give you $100 in free insurance, they know shit is going to get broke. The problem is once your package is scanned in, it no longer is a package but a number. And they must meet their numbers for the day or they get shit on, and shit rolls downhill. I have seen boxes marked "fragile" (don't do that by the way, might as well mark throw me on it) thrown from the back of a 48 foot trailer to the front to be stacked on the bottom of a pile. If you do ship with UPS, insure the shit out of it and pack it like you don't expect it to get there, because it probably wont.
