I was thinking about buying the Hella H4 conversion here Hella H4 Headlight Upgrade (89-91) but I want to hear some opinions about it first. What do you guys think of them? If anyone has any before and after pics that would be great also.

4x6 PROJECTOR HEADLIGHTS FORD MUSTANG PROBE CHEVY S10 | eBay

After doing the conversion on my old 90 gst with a kit from machv my friend bought a set from e-bay for his 90 talon. His looked way better and were allot brighter than mine. I wish I could of gotten a picture of them but someone here on DSMtuners has to have a picture somewhere.

I went through Sharp HID and bought mine. I know John is having a sale right now. But they are an awesome upgrade lighting on the road is so much better. I went with the 10k's and they are super bright. I love the way they look and perform. I wasted my money on those ebay projectors and they sucked poor light output and poor quality. You should contact Sharp HID he backs his stuff with warranties and has a good deal going on now. Oh yes it's a very easy install also.

Anyone else have feedback on these conversions?

Taking a second look, I guess my bulbs are replaceable. Do these look like the H4 conversion setup? Would upgrading just to the e-code housing help? Or maybe rewiring the lights with relays?

If it has a ballast its more than likely they are HIDs require them to turn on. It takes roughly 20,000 volts to ignite the gas in the light with HID kits, which is why they need a ballast.

My guess is the previous owner upgraded to a h4 conversion housing because the POS 4666 sealed beam burns out every time it is looked at funny. Those may or may not be HIDs. Again, simply look for a ballast going to them.

No they are not HIDs, does this look like an ebay kit, they are made of glass?
