Wish I had a garage with a hoist like that...lucky bugger. :p

Wish I had a lift in my own garage and I wish I had the money to go with a tube front end. Can't imagine a FWD with a tube front end. Granted it might hurt traction a little, but the stiffness of the rear could help that quite a bit!

Nate, Nice vid. Obviously know your way around a DSM. Was that an RCI seat I saw you test fitting.

Nathan, Looks like you have alot of goodies to go on the car. Should be making some nice power. Next year my friend, you will be climbing the the list I'm sure.:thumb:

Thanks Jose! I've been waiting for winter to do anything so I'm glad its here in a way. I was missing working on my car! I have big plans for 2012, maybe not the top 10 list, but with the combination of the unreached potential of the Hoosiers from last year and the new stuff for next year, I should drop my ET quite a bit!

That vid was pretty cool.....funny in sped up motion. I couldn't keep my eye off the old school Parisienne in the backround....that thing looks mint!

always enjoy a video from Nate. Can't wait to see the tube front end. Please post measurements? I need to tackle something like this on my car as rhe rad support on my car has been punched back making my radiator somewhat v mounted. Probably great for cooling but not so hot for turbo/ fan clearence.

Check it out, my 2011 video! All 14b power!

Great video. Good job of getting a lot of different venues covered!

Very nice video pal!!!

Great video. Good job of getting a lot of different venues covered!

Thanks guys! I've been slowly piecing it together throughout the year. I'm very happy with how well it turned out. It's a huge improvement over my 2010 video (which was the first one I had ever made) :D

Nathan, Nice vid. Some well rounded racing there. Like that white 1G Talon in the middle of the opening shot. :D
Thanks Jose! I thought you would like that Talon :D I love that picture! After my 2010 video was almost all pictures I didn't want any pictures in this one, but I broke down and included just two stills, one opening (The three white 1g's) and one closing (My calendar shot).

That was a killer vid.....done real nice....nice run against that black Stang......that roadcourse you were on...I wanna drive it!
Thanks Phil! The road course is Arroyo Seco Raceway out near Deming, NM. It's the only road course I've ever been on so I can't compare it to anything, other then to say it's in the middle of the desert and there is not much in the way of scenery. I know Jose has raced on it too.

Welcome....good stuff. Perfect that its out in the desert....nothing to hit but rattlesnakes and scorpions if you run off......LOL

The roadcourse is really nice, right amount of turns and a nice long straight followed by a nice wide turn that you can carry alot of speed into.

Nathan, thanks for the coil pack. Should be trying it out tomorrow. Hopefully that is all that has been troubling my Talon. So I can get her back on the road course and dragstrip again. And knock out the 11 I know it can do. Next years the year :hellyeah:

It's a 92 AWD Auto. 6bolt/4bolt. 120k miles. Stock and unmolested. It's been sitting in a garage for a LONG time. Inspection sticker says 2002. Was advertised "blown engine", but I think it's an easy fix (ecu/electrical problem..it's only running on 2cyl)

Anyway...Im thinking my race car might donate the 14b setup and small air/water to this car and I'll have some fun with it.

Yeah for saving a clean 1g, boo for taking money and parts from the race car.

The new racecar shell was bigger project than I originally anticipated and was already blowing budget I didn't have. It was realistically not going to be complete untill the end of season anyway due to budget.

This new toy saves $ on gas and allows me to hit track and post about little turbo results while I take my time on the hardcore build.

Every time I see a 1G with a front license plate bracket that's inevitably been pushed into the bumper and left an imprint, I cry a little.

You'd hate parking around here. My neighbors prefer to park by braille. ROFL

Buying a DSM saves you money?!? :aha:WTF

Nice car. Nice find. Congrats.

The car does look very clean. Dave, funniest comment I've seen in a while! ROFL

As for me, I'm getting a little excited about my car. Found a civic half width radiator here on tuners for cheap. Also found a great deal on a very good E3 16g with a ported hotside and j-pipe. I'll be swapping the hotside and j-pipe onto my 14b with the Evo 3 exhaust manifold I have. Other than that, it's a matter of picking up some axles, tires and a few small odds and ends to get things wrapped up!

Yeah, it might. I have a Hemi v8 Durango for my only vehicle, it gets about 11mpg and eats $80+ a week in gas. If this Dsm can net 20mpg, it will pay for itself eventually.

thats what i always say :thumb:
