Well a balance shaft helps eliminate motor vibration, so in terms adding motor vibration with out it. Good advise is to do your maintenance sutch as your timing. You can always do balance shaft elimination as in previous post, it can cause a little more vibration but in the long run has good aspects for removing such as higer oil pressure at idle, and if your balance shaft belts snaps can be harmful to other timing components and your motor. So make sure maintenance is maintained or u can always get it removed.:thumb:

If you don't have a belt on the front shaft the rear will still be spinning and it will vibrate pretty bad. Why not just throw a new belt on?

That always works too!:thumb: But if you dont remeber when the last time you did your timing now might be a good time.

I did put a new belt on it. But when I had bought the car it didn't run right and I putted the motor and the belt was gone. So I was wondering if that could have been part of the reason it was not running right.

LOL at iugrad92turbo's auto-reply. But maybe your balance shaft tensioner needs to be set properly. Me and my friend took a good 25mins to set it correctly. I still have all my stock components so... maybe a retenioning of the balance shaft tensioner would be advised.
