Is there anything special that you have to do? I just got the HID Kit for my G/F's 1998 eclipse spider, and when hooking it up and turning the head lamps on, there was nothing...
I own a 2008 Charger with 32K lamps both head lights and fog lights and they work perfectly. Took the KIT i was installing on her 1998 eclipse and swaped them on my charger and they lit right up. Any ideas?

And they are a Plug and Play Kit.

If it is a 2g...I know for some reason the polarity is opposite. I have a SharpHID plug n play kit and all you have to do it turn the connector around. Worked right away for me.

storage.sharphid.com/installation/2gdsminstall.pdf

thats the link I was talking about. It's on page 6 of the pdf.

If you can't access the link...just search Sharphid dsm install. It should come up as a PDF.

Are you talking about the connector that plugs into the Factory wiring harness that the stock bulb plugs into? I was thinking about that, but the hid plug doesn't fit reversed..

Take a test light and check your power and ground.

I have installed HIDS in my 08 Charger, 08 Jeep Liberty, 93 Talon, ect. The stock lights work when I plugged them back in, so I know there is power, so do you think I have the reverse the polarity on the actual plug that plugs into the light harness?

On mine its the actual connector that goes to the Ballast. You should have additional wiring (at least I did) between the HID bulbs and the ballast. Not the stock wire.

Were you able to access the PDF? It has pictures to help out.

Yeah I was able to look at the pictures. I really easy to hook up, and like I said I have done a lot of these for my buddies. And I did try to reverse the connector on the ballast and still had no power. And like I said, I connected them to my charger and they worked so I know the Ballast and Bulbs are in good working condition. I was thinking maybe the power to the stock connector isn't strong enough to power up the ballast?

Just hooked everything backup tonight, like all pics, ect.....still nothing, hooked it up to my charger, were good.....

Spliced in a neg and pos wire to the ballast, connected it to the battery, turned the lights on, and blew the 40amp headlight fuse for the car... so I know the ballast, and the bulb is good to go, so what the hell is going on??? LOL

HELP!!!!!

The harness Where you plug and play switch it around, like instead of positive-positive negative -negative

How its supposed to be

do positive-negative and negative-positive
Idk if i confused u but I've had kits for 3 2g eclipses and if i hooked the connectors the correct way it wouldn't work I would have to switch them around for them to work......don't switch the wires that goes from the HID bulbs to the ballast

Do it to the one that connects to the OEM plugs/connectors/harness

had this issue on my HID's and all I did was just flip the harness that came from the car to the ballast....No splicing no cutting just flipped the connector to where the harness lock was flipped on the opposite side of the plug and they worked.....you need to be careful though it's not difficult to smoke the ballasts and have a worthless set of HID's.....
