Found this really nice gst for 4000 which isnt bad. Tell me what yall think?

1998 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS-T TURBO 126K MILES, LEATHER, MUST SEE!

You can't tell much from photos, but the paint looks to be all one shade. I.e. no touch ups or any thing. All the gaps on the panels seem fine, and the interior seems to tell me it's had an easy life. Only thing I don't like to see is when they jet wash and clean an engine. Could be they just want it to look its best. Or there trying to hide something? But over all it look real nice. Id buy it

Says it has electrical and idle problem, But a car in that condition is a nice car I mean its worth geting and finding the problem.I mean it looks brand new.

Better car on her for that price. Those rims look like shit and looks like the top of the dipstick is broke off which to me means the car pops it out and has blow by. The one good thing is it's stock minus the k&n, more like a $2500 car unless i just got new tb, wp, new seal, etc.

It's stock minus the K&N and the BOV. And I was not aware that 5spd GST's were "super rare."

its clean but it looks like it has 2 blow off valves. and it looks like it doesnt have a ps pump belt just my .02

Go look at it, then start laughing hysterically when you pop the hood, see the 2 blow off valves. Then insist that it has been improperly modified which means it was probably abused, try and talk em down to at least 3000$.

List the improper mods you can find, the no power steering belt, get under it and check the bushings and cv axles. I bet the bushings are in rough shape. Just try and find as many faults as you can and say that it would be worth 4 but it needs a lot of work.

Maybe the guy couldn't decide if he wanted to recirc or vent atmospherically XD
It has a blitz bov vented and a 2g bov recirced.
It has a broken dipstick, and missing ps belt.
Missing the Oe oil cap, spark plug cover, and the spark plug wire brackets.
Missing cigarette lighter, and has a huge hole under the crappy aftermarket stereo.
The rims look like an uglier knockoff of the SRT4 rims.
Also the seat belts don't seem to retract very well.
Use that info when you go in. The more bad you point out, The more they are willing to drop the price. Oh mention his 5 speed is rare for a GST! Hah seriously, How many 5 speed GSTs do we have on here alone?

Wouldn't pay over 2500.. looks like that car had an inexperienced owner. Those can be cheap pick ups and easy fixes.. but it can also mean more problems lie ahead.

Paint and the interior looks clean. You should check it out, test drive it.
