As the title states, looking for suggestions on a turbo. Currently stock. No real big plans, upping the boost to maybe 10 lbs, replacing the I/C piping and doing a new smic, and 2.5" all the way back. I assume the T25 is more then capable of this but the stock unit now has a hair over 83k on it. I'm open to all suggestions and criticism. :)

you should be fine with the turbo you currently have. if you remove the bcs thing in the upgrade paths your stock car can push 12-15 psi. so if you don't want to push more then 10 psi... dont touch the turbo. my stock t25 has 120+k miles and is fine... dont fix it if it isnt broken.

If you want to keep the car as close to stock as possible, try going with the 14b. It can push out extra ponies that the t25 cant come close to. All you need is a j pipe

I would go with a 16g, alot of times you can find them for close to the same price as a 14b and will give you plenty of room to grow

I apologize, I misread in another thread. I thought stock boost was around 7-8 psi. So since stock is around 10 psi give or take some, is the T25 capable of running 15 psi w/o issue? Mind you the car is a DD and won't being doing heavy runs. Just a little extra omph when needed.

Hmmm alright. Time to do some more reading. Learning is always fun. :)

A 14b should be all you need if your trying to stay close to stock. It would be a little more efficient with increased boost as opposed to the stock turbo.

my stock T25 170k miles on it would hold 15 psi all day with stock smic and piping as long as you don't have any boost leaks. I recently upgraded to a 16g myself currently only running 15psi which is producing quite a bit of creep.

Look into a 16g, preferably the Evo3. It's almost a bolt on turbo with minor mods to the feed/drain. No supporting mods needed to run it at stock boost level yet 10psi on a Evo3 16g would give you more power than 10psi on your stocker.
