Hey new member here been lurking for a few weeks now and i think the time has come to get into a dsm, i have a car ive been looking at online and need help determing what the cars worth and possibly whats wrong with it.

Details on car:
1995 eagle talon awd
Not sure on miles
6 bolt
New bottom end
New top end, Je 8.5.1, eagle H beam rods and ARP everything
OEM timing belt done by jacks transmission
Act 2600 with street disk
Evo 3 manifold with big 16g
head has 1mm oversized ferrea valves
HKS 272/272
Adjustable cam gears
680cc injectors
stage 3 keydriver chip and an Safc II
Shepard transmission work what i think is stage 1


Problems: Car will idle but wont go into boost, no exhaust (hoping thats the problem) not sure if that means no o2 back or no catback but worst case scenario, also has axle seal leak.
Bodys in not that great of shape dent in door, fender and rear quarter panel.

Up for sale is my 95 Eagle Talon TSi AWD, bought this car a couple of years ago blew up the motor havin too much fun, finally had the money to put a bottom end in now i cant get it running right, it has a new OEM timing belt Jacks Transmissions did the timing belt job(have receipts), it has a brand new ACT 2600 with street disk(receipt), the motor is a 6 bolt bored .02 over JE pistons 8.5:1, Eagle H beam rods with ARP hardware throughout (headstuds, main caps, rods),evo 3 manifold with big 16g, the head has 1mm oversized ferrea valves,272 hks cams, adjustable cam gears, 680cc injectors a stage 3 keydriver chip and an Safc II, and it has a Shep trans with stronger stock 1st gear and double synchros up to 3rd, 4 bolt rear end and the 23 spline transfer case, the body on this thing is really rough it has been hit on the driver side door still shuts and everything but the rear quarter panel is messed up too, it also has an axle seal leak, also has no exhaust



Basically im tired of spending money and time on this thing and wanna cut my losses and get rid of it, as it sits it currently starts and will idle but when you try to boost it stutters and just wont do it, im looking to get 1800 obo cause i need this thing gone, its a perfect candidate to find a clean shell and swap this motor and tranny in and you'll have a pretty sick 300~whp car

For the shep transmission work, is there anyway to verify that the work was actually done?
 
Wow, its under 2000$ with all that stuff, if it was me in your shoes, id ask the seller to let me do a compression test, and boost leak test on it, if hes says no, than there's something really wrong with the car and hes hiding it, if hes said's yes, then hes being honest, plus if it passed the compression test then its nothing majorly wrong with the car, and you should be able to fix it without spending much money. A stage 3 keydriver chip???? I never heard of that before. You know, most Shep transmission's make a noise louder than stock, and u can hear it. Hope i helped:cool:

Note, if you have a turbo dsm and you are driving and if all a sudden you try to go, and u start going in boost and the car sputters and slows down and the boost needle goes up while doing this, its usually a boost leak somewhere.LOL
 
Awesome yeah i had all my gauges and tools ready to go take a look at it yesterday, not going to be able to boost leak test as i cant find the one i made, but i was figuring it was something small not having o2 sensors hooked up could cause this also id imagine.
The keydiver chip is a chip thats mailed to you i believe, it got good reveiws everything ive read about it has been positive, but the guy decided to quit doing it for new customers and only for people who have done business with him before.
Hopefully im able get ahold of this guy today im getting anxious and worried its gonna slip away
