Nos for spool or the whole 1/4?

He said it shuts off @ 30mph but I'm also curious about the spool. Sounds like it comes on way to hard not to be used during spool.

The auto cars have more of a challenge getting the turbo to light out the hole. Even with the re-stall converter the nitrous is necessary to get the rpms up enough till the turbo starts making boost.

it comes on when i floor it, which is while on the converter, 2 step'n with nos :hellyeah:

and shuts off at 6000 rpm or 40mph

yeah, and i hate it. ive mentioned it to the guys at link and they could make it a soft cut but wont do it for me, prob going aem soon beacuse of it, also gonna build a circuit so aem can shift the tranny for me :cool:, and i wanna log 4 egt's before i start using the DP
Been shifting the car manually and i dont think the tranny likes it much.
i have the spark tech cop with m&w cdi so no 2 step function like msd.
 
I think you messed up the title. It says "Quickest", I think you may have meant "Fastest". Nearly 8s in a quarter mile is defiantly fast!

i would tune it but you'd have to bring it to the shop. more times than not customers setups are not 100% which cuts tuning short or requires tools and time to fix, which i can do that too ;)

I originally tried out link's 2 step but its way to slow and boost would go from 12 to 18 psi at the line depending. Plus it continues until our lazy 1g speed sensors see's the car moving. I wired up my dynatek arc-2 to my brake switch for the 2 step and it works so much better!

So when is this car going back to the track to take another shot at 8s?

8's is no issue it will go 8s next track visit which should be very soon, the event in orlando this weekend is 1/8th mile unfortunately so can't break out any 8sec slips there LOL
