I posted up in my fist thread, but thought id let eveyone know. I Just clicked off my first 9 second pass. I did it with the English Racing 1g on a FP hta68. Car just straight got it. Pass felt good. Thank you lucas for a solid 1g that runs 9s on a tiny ass turbo. Just Wow!! :)

vids or timeslip??

My niece took a small video from the pits. Cant see the score board. shes only 11 and did it with phone :). The launch looked good in the vid. maybe ill post up for jsut that.

Whoa 2350 lbs..That's an awful lot of weight has been removed..So 9's with a 68hta is probably not an option for the rest of us..Unless it's a track only bare bones car like this one..

I dont know about that. It has had a lot go into setup and getting it too launch. Weight helps on not breaking parts but its definitely the only answer. There is no converter technology nor is there any nitrous in the car. there are definitely more ways to skin a cat.

Even a relatively light 1g awd is going to be around 2700lbs. Using the 100 lbs. equals 1/10th in the 1/4 assumption you're trying to overcome .35 on a pass. To overcome that you're looking at quite a bit of horsepower, obviously nitrous would get you there, but otherwise without losing alot of weight you're not going to see similar numbers.

Congrats English Racing! That little car continues to impress, especially after looking over it's simplicity at the shootout!

Man that's awesome! That thing has to be a blast to go down the track in! Congrats buddy!

That's just RETARDED! Congrats guys. What lb/min are you flowing out of the tiny thing?

While Lucas' car continues to amaze, that's not what I got out of that timeslip. How about that .018 light? Far too many DSM racers don't put enough emphasis on leaving on time. I know how important it is, though. We call that a "bad job of red lighting".:sneaky:

Me and my brother were talking about that.. thats faster than I blink! thats faster than.. sh*t, anything haha, well not light but damn close! :p
haha and I like that phrase, "bad job of red lighting!"

Still E-85 with no methanol? Is this IC or the none IC setup? Amazing feat to get such a little turbine to go so fast and stay efficient!! Talk about power to weight ratio! Stock auto converter is amazing also!
