So my cars been down for 11 months, and for whatever reason is showing load under idle, and is running pig rich. The problem has remain unsolved, and with it being in a shop (Im not great at tuning, especially cars that are on speed density, e85, and have mystery problems from catching on fire) the bill is starting to make me sick, with no result....
So im thinking its about time I cut my losses and move on to something else. I was looking at the Toyota X-runner, 236 hp stock, with a 14.9 in the 1/4, and 0-60 in 6.9. Stock for stock its very similar to a DSM, I really like the way these look and itd be nice to be driving a new car.
I did some research and theres not alot of aftermarket support. But I was thinking Greddy emanage, hx40, and some meth injection would get this thing flying :D the UDR supercharger easily pushes it to over 400 hp. What do you guys know about them? Any input from you guys would be nice.

Haha that's sick!! Im wanting something fairly new though, something I can DD while doing small mods here and there. To get the truck ide have to sell my current daily and the dsm. So I want something that will be reliable.

I only have a Prerunner, but it's a VERY nice truck. :thumb:

OP, if you want a quick and decently fuel efficient v6 truck that takes well to mods, get one of these:

it's actually closer to a DSM than the Taco you posted.

Since I'm a Dodge whore I'd say get a Hemi Ram. I love mine! Minor mods and I've gotten it down to a 14.1 in the 1/4. With an e-fan and a light foot I can usually manage around 17 city/ 22 hwy mpg. That's reg cab and 2wd though. I bought mine for 7200. w/ 54k miles

Not mine :p

So you want to sell an unfinished project so you can buy a truck that will turn into a unfinished project?

Hmmm....

Well the truck would be a 2006, and ide leave it alone for a while and just have it as basicly a daily until the modification bug bites, that GMC would be a nasty truck too though. But I decided ide much rather spend a little more and have an Evo. I talked to a guy with a 397hp turbo tacoma and his best quarter time was a 13.9, im pretty unimpressed, especially when you can throw $1000 at a DSM and run an 11.
