I've got a set of rims that don't fit my 2g. just wondering if anyone has put 1" wheel adaptors on to fit a rim with a 7.5" width and a +45 offset? could u post pics? I'm curious to see how much/if they'd poke out the wheel well. thanks

If you're moving the wheel out, it's a spacer. Googling wheel "adapters" where the bolt pattern doesn;t change? Spacer.

1" is about 25mm.

Have you looked at the fitment calculators posted over, and over, and over, and...here once more? Custom rims, wheel tire packages for your ride - RIMSnTIRES.com

Clarify your questions. 10mm is stupid. 25mm is unsafe. Buy wheels that fit.

He's looking to go 5x114.3 -> 5x108. So he really does mean Adapter.

Lando Makes Sense.

Get the right Bolt pattern, and Spacers are easy to fix an Offset. I run a 19X10.5 and only use a 15mm spacer, on a car that isn't A DD, Drag, or Track car, just sits in the garage, so i can look at it.

LOL. 15 is past my comfort zone. (RRE's too)

Then again I DD this heap.

How'd you know about the bolt pattern change...did I miss something?

His other posts are in regards to the bolt pattern change

If you do get some adapters or spacers. Make sure you get the Hub Centric to Vehicle and Wheel Centric to Wheel ones. I don't have any personnel experience with spacers. I did help a buddy put some on his truck 32mm. He drives it to work everyday and i haven't heard about any problems. FYI They where bolt on with upgraded studs.

ichiban sells some good ass ones, make sure your get arp or similar upgraded wheel studs because of the added stress its worth it to upgrade and make sure its hub centric or else your wheels are gonna wobble like a mofo... i know this by experience ive gone thru it all with my lexus

Dont wast your time paring for the ichiban.. i ordered these a while back (25mm) to give me room for a set of VR4 brakes/rotors on my 1g...and my buddy got the EXACT same wheel adapters from ebay for about half the price...

thanks for all your help 4g63tc... ya 1.25 would definitely make the wheels poke.. no thanks.. I'm still hoping someone with wheel ADAPTERS (not spacers) on a 2g could post a pic?

I think you'd be hard pressed to find someone here who actually uses adapters for anything else than steering wheels.

but good luck!

I'm using a 1" wheel spacer with my FD wheels. Tires are 265/45/16 Mine look like what 4G63tc posted.

I think the thing is, you going to have to have some kind of extra spacing to bolt and adapter up! I don't see in working any other way!

Did this improve you handling any??
I mean I see no reason is shouldn't, wider stance, better side to side handling!
