Think it could be a real groundhog?

Pretty sure the bird is a Great Blue Heron, and that's a Prairie Dog, not a groundhog.

i do believe that is a blue heron. second i dont know most likely what the others said but just for the sake of saying. is it a muskrat? ive never seen one out of water but i know there about that size.

and off topic but i hope that bird scratched the sh!t out of that car!! LOL :hellyeah:ROFL

I'm going to say the second on is a Muskrat. The reason I say that is because my dog owned one not too long ago. LOL She attacked it through a fence and pretty much broke its back legs. So I finished it off and got rid of it.

Also I say that because my dad confirmed it was a Muskrat after I killed it; it looks EXACTLY like what is pictured about.

Yep prairie dogs don't come out of their holes like that and the head doesn't look right. I've looked at a few with a scope out west with my uncle. Well I think its a prairie dog. Is there a puff of red after you looked at him?

The Pokemon statement is the most accurate on here. Please only reply if you know what you're talking about.

LMFAO!!

First looks awefully like a blue heron. Or as I called them when I was little. A blue heroin.

Though if they are pokemon I am sure that would be a sandshrew and either a Farfetch'd or a Spearow/Fearow

That's the new 2012 alarm systems, it'll crap on your ride and peck you with its pecker ROFL

Blue herring is more like a Seagal and not a crane either cranes look like a geese.

I did a yahoo image search of none looks that fugly duckling.

As for small animal.
Question where you around a water pond, if that might be a muskrat.

What, are you saying a great blue heron looks like a seagull and a crane looks like a goose? :hmm: looks like you need to work on your google searches.

I'm not guessing, that is a Great Blue Heron. They have a wingspan of over 6', hardly a seagull.

Dirty little animals...

Sounds like it's a great blue heron then, somebody had asked if the second pic was near water? It wasn't. That lil muskrat or whatever he is kept coming out of dirt holes. The only way I caught his whole body like that was because of my camera and it's zoom. Otherwise you never see him come out of that hole.

Thanks for the feed back guys, oh and just for kicks, the bird did in fact take a big crap on dudes car LOL he was all mad and wiping it off
