On the contrary.. For all you people converting your 2gb talons to eclipse, sell me your RARE bumpers.. I would gladly convert my Eclipse to a 2gb talon anyday.

I sold my talon a few months back.. Regret it everytime I think about it..

I find it pretty funny because I also have a 2002 WRX, which most people dislike for some reason. I always get "you should convert your bugeye to a blob eye (04-05) or hawkeye (06-07).. I love my bug eye WRX just the way it is.

i wish i painted my eclipse (2gb converted) red like yours :banghead:. next time i paint it, its going to be red!. your car is just sexy man. nice job!:hellyeah:

That would be my '96 Spyder ;). I love my car! I do not care what others say, I made it look the way I did because I LIKED IT! I know a lot of people dislike the Mitsu logo in the front, but I didn't want to pretend to be a Talon, so I tried something different. At first I thought it was a bit too small, but eventually I learned to like it.

However, I never expected the reactions I got from this car at the shootout! It was overwhelmingly positive!

But on to original topic, 2Gb Eclipse front end is nice but it is WAY OVERUSED!

And align your hood. Did you scrape a mailbox? It's hard to see what happened to the side of your car. I know I've had some real close calls with the side of the garage. And I swear the mailbox taunts me from time to time.

At least I didnt get the mad tyte jdm eclipse bumper and put it on my usdm talon because its jdm mitsu yo.
One thing I cant stand to hear is how jdm someones honda is because they pulled the SAME exact part off another "jdm" honda.
And no, there is no such thing as a jdm dsm, sorry if I got any noobs hopes up LOL

Car was originally a bonestock 2ga when I bought it 10 years ago. Now has a 2gb front/wing and the car will look like this for as long as I own it. To the OP, you mad now bro? :p

I love the 2ga stripe, hate when it's incomplete....

That is the type of thing they call... "all or nothing...."
 
I myself, somewhat regret going from 2ga -> 2gb. Personally, I love 2gb, and ever since I saw the first commercial in 1997, this was the car I wanted. In my years of trying to find a 2gb that wasn't destroyed, I gave up and resurrected my current 95 (long story). Said to myself if you can't find one the way you want it, make one. Pretty much started from scratch with a bare shell.

This was before I was aware of how many people where doing the swaps. As others have said too, it hurts a little inside to see Talons -> Eclipse's.
 
I hate the 2ga rear eclipse bumper with the high rise. Its just not meant to be together. Conversions I like.

2gb talon with the 2ga talon side skirts.

2gb eclipse front bumper, talon side skirts, the rest 2ga.

That's just from the light and the hood is straight but the fenders are not.

Still looking for the wing, and not sure about the sides. kinda like them, kinda don't. if they didn't have the stupid mesh in them it would be better.

Why give a damn if someone wants to do a 2gb conversion? It's their car, and if you don't like it, too bad.

For all of those bitching about other peoples desire to do a 2gb conversions. Go outside, look at the back of your car and keep telling yourself that your fugly fart canister sticking out the back adds to the visual appeal of your car. :rolleyes:

Whats next on the DSM Nazi "Do no do list"?
CF hoods?
Wrong Driverside airbag emblem?
Different generation interior?

I plan to keep my 2ga as is except I'm going to go to the 2gB Eclipse front bumper/headlights. And for those who think I should go in front of a "firing squad" because of my atrocious DSM sins; I've got two salty balls to decorate your chin with.:f-u:

Yeah I kind of agree with the your car, do what you want. But the 2gb talons are just so damn few and far between.... Leave them alone, if you want an eclipse get one of those.
 
the only thing that makes the 2g worth looking at is if its a 2gB (either Eclipse or Talon flavored). This is why the 4th gen eclipse failed, because they didnt figure out they needed to revise the 4g looks to a 4gB rendition that streamlined the flow of the car and made it look more "connected" to the ground.

Nope, props to someone who does the work to make their 2g look proper and not look like it has down syndrome. If you got a 2ga for cheap and want 2gb looks go for it.

Id feel bad for any 2gb owner that bought some crappy body kit though, thats even worse than 2ga status.

I think the 2ga talons are way better looking than the 2gb talons. But 2gb eclipses trump all
