Yeah, that was crazy. Happend approx 1:55 pm here in burlington. My house was shaking pretty bad, enough to make me run out the fornt door.

We have them from time to time here, but there so small you cant feel them, they only show up on the scales. This one you could feel, when I ran out front, my neighbors 300c was bouncing all around on the suspension.

Earlier today I felt some vibration and looked to see if the dog was leaning agaisnt the couch to scratch like he does but remembered he was outside. Makes me wonder if we got a small aftershock.

5.9 on the richter scale.

I live here in michigan (battle creek) and we felt some of it. nothing that would register a 5.9 but it was apparent that the ground was shaking.

I had to save my flat screen i hope my car still on the jack stands

We had the office here shaking, although it did not last very long maybe a minute or so. Being on the second floor made it more fun. At first it was; there goes whats his name walking by again then turned into hmm maybe their moving heavy equiptment in the shop followed by hmm this is lasting a while and shaking pretty good finally announed "we have just experiened an earth quake, if there is another and we feel your saftey is in danger we will evacuate the building (Horray for smilies!)

Epicenter was in Virginia. 5.8-5.9 magnitude estimate currently.

I've been in quite a few, being from the west coast and all. If there are any strong aftershocks and they have you concerned, get under a sturdy table or a door frame.
