Well, I'm in Spain right now, but I just checking my bank and this guy just got his reenlistment bonus. About 12k :D:D:D

Anyway, I'm putting about 4k into a separate account for my move to the UK later this year, so that leaves about 8k for the car... and other odds and ends.

The question is, what would you do?

P.S. My compression is sitting about 13x, 12x across, so I'm going to order up some rebuild parts including an entire rotating assembly (close to stock though).

Maybe a paint job, piece by piece then the body.

My enks are a little banged up and are over played. So I'll be ordering up a set most likely, not depending on opinions, just would like to see what people would do in this situation.

At the moment all I've got is a wideband, boost, oil pressure. Front mount. s16g

p.p.s Looking for an evo8 ecu if anyones got one.

Thanks,
:hellyeah: Will :hellyeah:

I would personally invest a majority of it into savings for a house and of course spoil myself a little bit but not to the point of exaggeration.

Edit: what branch are you in OP? (if you don't mind me asking)

INVEST IN GOLD!!!

Or you can invest in my business venture :D

Well, I definitely need a rebuild at the least. I'm not sure what I'm going to do yet, just a "what if" type deal :)

I'm in the good 'ol Air Force. As for the house, I'm only, well a long time, only 30 months.

10 grand could get you into the 11s. But eh, I think it would be wiser to invest at least half of it. Use the other 4k for your rebuild and maybe a nice set of wheels.

IMO. Get a good build on the engine, get suspension, wheels if you find a good deal. Then take the rest and invest.

More or less i'm saying get your car's "supporting mods" done. Then you can slowly bolt on some fun stuff and not be so worried. If you throw 8 g's at it at once it's going to be a big crazy mess. Take it a little bit slow and notice how each part advances the performance of your car. If you invest right then your investment will be paying for everything and in the end you will still have your money to put towards house, family, or whatever you choose. Good luck!

If you buy the car and then need to spend 10 grand getting into the 11s, you're doing something wrong.
